It removes the yellow cast caused by light pollution during night photography, isolating the harmful effect of artificial lights on imaging. Especially useful for late-night, long-exposure imaging near cities or other sources of light pollution, this filter cuts light from the color spectrum, like that from low-CRI light sources.

This filter is multicoated and features an infrared-cut coating for accurate light and color transmission. It also has a scratch-resistant and waterproof coating for use in harsh environments with easy cleaning. It has a 95mm unthreaded, magnetic filter ring, which attaches to the required, separately available MovieMate Round Filter Insert Frame.
