The Fiilex P3 COLOR Pro Bundle K4 Kitfrom Fiilex features the P3 Color portable 90W LED fixture which offers a ton of features in a compact and lightweight frame. The white light output ranges from 2000-10,000K with high CRI and multiple color control modes so you can access a full range of vibrant RBG illumination. Featuring Fiilex's patented Dense Matrix LED, this small light source is capable of producing crisp shadows and clean barndoor cuts. Included with the light fixture are P3 barndoors, a power adapter, a DMX adapter, a 20° Fresnel lens with snoot, a dome diffuser, and a V-mount with a 5/8" receiver.

Q: 1. Does this unit have a data port that would allow it to interface to an external radio for remote sensing?

A: The Sekonic C-7000 SpectroMaster Color Meter Bundle Kit does not have a port for remote sensing via radio.

Q: 2. Can this also be used to measure light levels (F stops)? Ambient, spot, or incident?

A: This meter can be used to measure incident light, measured as lux. There are no aperture or shutter speed or ISO numbers on this meter. These would need to be derived from the lux measurement and the ISO speed rating, to determine f/stops and shutter speeds. As a reference point for your calculations, Exposure Value (EV) 0 is equivalent to 1 second at f/1.0. At ISO 32 film speed, EV0 is the correct exposure for 10 lux incident light level. For ISO 500, at 110,000 lux, the correct exposure would be EV17. Remember that EV represents a collection of equivalent settings, so EV17 could be 1/1000 sec at f/11 or 1/500 sec at f/16 or 1/250 at f/22 or 1/125 at f/32 or 1/60 at f/44, and so on. For the same ISO 500 speed, 55,000 lux would require one unit lower EV than at 110,000 lux, thus 55,000 lux would require EV16 for ISO 500. With 110,000 lux and ISO 125, the correct exposure would be EV15. One of the possible shutter & aperture combinations for EV15 would be 1/250 at f/11. These examples should enable you to create exposure tables for yourself, relative to the lux readings you get from this meter. It does beautifully at measuring the spectrum of light sources and determining color rendering index and color temperature.

A: The Fiilex P3 Fresnel Lens is only for the P3 Color Light.

Q: 5. What's the diference between this and the C-800?

A: The Sekonic C-7000 Spectrometer Color Meter BH #SEC7000 is designed for industrial applications and the C-800 is designed for photo and video based work.

Q: 6. Can the Q5 be powered by a single 14v battery through d-tap? If so, can it go full power or is output limited?

[90 W ] I've had multiple LED desk lamps illuminating my workstation and large format printer cutting table for several years. It was okay until the one I always leave on burned out. I decided to upgrade and bought two of the V70 lamps. I like them so much I plan to purchase a couple more. Bright enough for easy color viewing of large prints and adjustable color temperature is nice to simulate color conditions. Nice size, not too small to light a broad area. I will still use my Graphic Light for judging and comparison, but as I get used to the accuracy of these little lights I'm sure I will rely on them more. I don't use the diffuser when pointed down but I think I will when I get my next 2 lamps that will illuminate the walls around my workstation. Happy with the purchase so far. The old LED lamps are relegated to the accounting desk. 5

[RGB] During printer calibration I wondered why my print doesn't look like what I see on my (calibrated) monitor. One of the issues -- as the knowledgeable sales person pointed out -- is that a monitor is bright but that the light under which I looked at the print is usually not bright or accurate. Not only does this well-build light help me (and my customers) view the print as it should be viewed, this is also a great light for photographing small electronic projects with the included diffuser. The touch-sensitive switches for brightness and color temperature are well designed. 5

[Yes] A handy lamp for checking color rendering under 4 different lighting (+ possibility of dimming). Retains the last setting used and parameter switching is fast and easy. 5

[90 W ] Does-the-job and easy-to-use desk lamp. I use it both for checking photo prints and to do homeschooling with the kids. I wonder if the 6500k mode can be used as light therapy as well ;) 5

[Fresnel] I use this lamp to color match photo tests. Totally doors the trick plus the ability to tap through different temperatures allows you to consider metamorization if final presentation conditions are unknown. The spread is good enough for me. I just move there lamp or the print of it's a large image. 5
