Built for DJs, drummers, producers, and soundtrack composers, Ujam Beatmaker 2 RICO is a software instrument doubling as your personal real-time drum-track creator for adding a Latin Club or Dancehall feel to any pop tune you create. To spice things up with deep bassy kicks and the classic boom-chak rhythm of reggaetón, Beatmakers RICO offers 10 separate kits, each with 16 drum instruments professionally layered, compiled, and mixed to create the instantly recognizable sonic identity associated with the genre. Choose from 20 styles with 23 ready-made patterns each for a total of 460 different rhythmical patterns for instant song intros, fills, verses, choruses, breakdowns, and endings—all waiting to be fired off and arranged using your MIDI controller in real time.

Whether you need straight-ahead beats or authentic world-percussion grooves, with RICO, you can create outstanding rhythms for your music quickly and easily. It instantly syncs to your DAW's tempo, and you can play a near-infinite variety of loops just like you would on an instrument. Select one of the 12 mix settings and boost the intensity of your beat using the Amount knob. The Me Gusta function uses a bidirectional slider which lets you shape the overall sound of your beats. Optimized for live arrangement and mixing, Beatmaker RICO takes advantage of Ujam's simple yet powerful macro controls, allowing for dynamic and tonal tweaking on the fly.

  • You can now drag phrases like intros, verses, or choruses straight from the interactive UI keyboard to the Beatmaker instrument track of your DAW. This opens up a slew of creative options.

  • The Mix section features a set of 12 mix presets optimized for creating Latin pop grooves.
  • Use the Amount knob for thumping lows, smooth stereo widening, slap delay, EQ carving, and many other processing methods rolled into 12 mix presets, allowing you to transform the sound of your beats in moments.
  • Use the Beat Intensity control to make quick changes—e.g., to adjust energy levels between your verse and chorus.

  • Turning the slider up will increase the stereo width, in case you want to give your beat a bit more space in the mix. It also boosts the low frequencies and decreases high frequencies.
  • Pulling the slider downwards does the opposite and also boosts the mids—try it both ways.

  • The Master Section processes the stereo output of Beatmaker excluding the instruments you’ve sent through individual outputs.
  • Enjoy one-knob saturation, a loudness maximizer, an ambience selector, a sweep control for the dual filter, and more.

  • With individual outputs, you can route any instrument or channel from Beatmaker to separate channels on your DAWs mixer.

  • Exclusive Studio One (v4.6.2 and later) piano-roll integration: The names of styles and drum elements are displayed on the keys of your piano roll to help you find the right styles and drums quickly and easily for your track.
  • The scale range of the styles and instruments are highlighted with a red line on the left side of your piano roll.

  • 20 different styles with 23 ready-made patterns for a total of 460 different rhythmical patterns for instant song intros, fills, verses, choruses, breakdowns, and endings

Q: 6. Does this sound better than the bose bluetooth audio adapter?

A: I don't think my answer will be helpful because I connect the B1 through the toslink therefore it defaults to the DAC in my receiver. Through this connect it definitely sounds better than the Bose. However, when I was using the Bose I was connected using the RCA calbe which default to the DAC in the Bose and not my receiver. My receiver may have a better DAC than the Bose which explains the better sounds.

[Download] I own many piano libraries as well as a real Steinway B so I was not expecting Keyscape to be as good as it is. I have not had time to explore much beyond the Rhodes and Yamaha C7 sounds but those are excellent and have easily replaced other libraries for me. The sounds work very well in my mixes. It does take a fairly hefty computer with an SSD, however, to run.

[Yes] I've been waiting for a while to buy this addition to my Spectrasonics collection and must say this is worth the purchase...the sounds are so great that I'll practice playing the piano and adding it to my productions.

[Yes] This program was a long time coming. I had been an owner of one of the original mid 1960s Compact Combos for many years, until things started to break down. And of course, next to impossible to find parts. Or people that are able and willing to repair them. Some of the modern keyboards do have some of the Farfisa sounds, but in reality, only a small amount of them(like maybe 2 or 3 of them). In reality, there is more of a diverse amount of tones that the Farfisa produced. Even resorted to buying one of the Electro-Harmonix C9 organ emulator pedals, but that still wasn't enough of these particular kinds of tone for me. Then Arturia started coming out with these new virtual instrument programs. The dealers that I normally buy from carried the similar type of Vox Continental program(which would have probably worked fine, and would have settled for it) but knowing that the Farfisa program was also being made, I had to search to see who carried it. No regrets here. All the sounds that I was familiar with, and where they were situated on the virtual keyboard screen. What was interesting that they had the option of effects pedals in this program......and I would always run my Farfisa through a Phase Shifter and/or a Flanger when I had it. Also learned a few things that I did not know about my original instrument. There used to be this one controller that stuck out of the bottom, that you controlled with your knee. When I bought my original Farfisa(used, back in the mid-70s), that knee controller was missing, and it was something I never noticed. So, a bit more historical and technical information on the instrument you played regularly---but didn't know about. It's easy to get a keyboard that has the piano, Rhodes, and Hammond sounds, to name a few......but nobody seemed to get the Farfisa sounds right. Until now. Great timing, on the part of Arturia!

[1280 x 768] I think I own everything Spectrasonics has produced in at least the last 10 years. Keyscape is yet another must-have. Everyone on that team does great work. I recently had occasion to visit the studio containing many of the original instruments sampled for this collection, and while that was cool, I'm happier simply having access to this library on my computer. :-)

[Download] Keyscape is totally worth it. The pianos and other instruments sound great alone and In a mix. I would say that they sound better than trying to mic up a real piano. Keyscape sounds very professional and exciting. You will have fun and be very impressed. I love it.

[1280 x 768] I've been searching for a realistic piano sound for a long time. After many disappointments, I was happy to discover Keyscapes.

It is on the pricy side, but audio wise... it is worth it. I had some issues installing it, but it seemed to be with a particular hard drive. Once I tried installing on a different drive, it worked flawlessly.

Very happy with my purchase. As always, shipping and customer service by BandH is great!

[Download] I am a relatively new Omnisphere2 user. I also use Native ainstruments Kintakt 11 Ultimate. There is a gaping hole in both these programs filled quite nicely by Keyscape. It integrates well with O2 and I love it. When you realize what’s missing you go looking for it so if you’re missing quality Rhoades, whirly and other bread and butter sounds then this is your ticket. One more thing, when you invest in these expensive programs and you need help ILIO is right there to provide it completely. Try that with NI. I highly recommend this app.
