With fog they also threw a wide Beam over front line x3. Not as Bright as Pars But effective. I put them overhead. About 15ft up. I can see these would do awesome inside on DanceFloors. Instead of carrying around a wireless rig or running cables everywhere and hooking up a field mixer, I can throw these on lav mics and my boom mic and sync it up later with Plural Eyes. It works like a charm. Great sound quality. My only wish is that they had a clip on the back but not a dealbreaker.

[1 User] Video Copilot's element 3d is a great plugin. It allows me to bring my objects that I have modeled in Lightwave, into After effects. This has helped speed up production, because I don't have to render out the scene first. I can take my model straight into After Effects and then render my scene. All in After Effects.

[Download] I've been looking for something like this for a long time. I don't trust wireless mics when I'm not able to monitor the audio so I record interview audio on a digital audio recorder and sync it to the video later in editing. The trouble is the recorder I've been using is kind of bulky and requires microphone adapters that can come loose. The Tascam DR-10X is very small and the XLR connection to the mic feels secure. The audio quality is great and there's no danger of accidentally turning off the recording. In fact, the on/off switch can be a little difficult to operate if you don't have long fingernails. My only suggestion for improvement would be to built the device out of metal instead of plastic. I would pay more for it, and I'm sure others would too.

[1 User] I've had Video Copilot's plug-in at several post houses I worked at, but never at home. It makes my life so much easier when I need to quick, 3d title animations. It's fast and it looks so good!

[Download] So glad I made this purchase. I was in a hurry to meet a deadline and Element 3D has been hands down the fastest most efficient way bring 3D objects into After Effects and create 3D scenes to composite into your videos. The ability to drag .obj files into After Effects is huge and the speed at which the program functions is incredible. I've been editing off a laptop with 16G RAM and a NVIDIA 1050 3G graphics card with After Effects CC 2020 and moving around my scene in the 3D viewer is instantly responsive without any lag or dip in resolution during camera rotation.

[Download] Purchased this as a possible gift to a client. Okay okay, so I didn't understand the directions. Older son (TV news reporter) fiddled with settings, without referring to directions, really likes this unit. Grandson is going around recording everybody in the house. If you're 80, consider sticking to your reel-to-reel. If your mind is young and you're looking for a dandy built-in recorder for your handheld mic, this Tascam may be just perfect for you (or your children).

[1 User] They are not Lippizana stallions more like Clydesdales that toe the line and get the job done. We have used other PTT that have a more fancy button and more stylish. But these are hard core and last for years. Not only on the PTT button but the XLR input which break down after lots of handling. And we never buy the bases that have an output mic cable coming out. They break more easily like those darn power supplies. Always get an output XLR jack on the base. This way you replace the bad mic cable and you are not down a mic the day of the meeting. We have over 80 mic bases and they rarely need maintenance.
