Q: 5. I have 3 hard drives approx. 5 to 7 years Old, do You think it will work with them so I can retrieve data and Software from them?

A: The adapter should work, I have over 10 old IDE drives and found no problem using the adapter to transfer the contents over to boh SATA drives and Flash memories.

Q: 9. I have a WD10JPVX hardrive trying to connect to this from a usb 3.0 slot and nothing is happening when I plug it in. I have files on the hardrive but dont want to delete them. Also this is showing up as a keyboard im pretty sure in my device manager, I have a feeling this is the driver issue anyone know where to find the drivers or can help?

A: We would suggest troubleshooting your USB port with other USB 3.0 drives.

[5.5 x 4 x 0.15"] I needed a cable for a secondary HD that I installed on a Dell XPS 8700. Just a note of advise though. Check the computer case before hand to see what length of cable that's needed. I could have used a much shorter cable. 5
