Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. will this fit the 600mm 5.6 Nikon AI(S)?

A: I have the Tamron 150-600 mm Zoom lens, The 120mm push-on cap from B&H fits perfectly. The cap's inside diameter is exactly 120mm or 4.75 inches. Get a metal Metric/Inches ruler from your office supply store or art supply store.

Q: 2. Would this fit on a Sony Rx100 vii?

A: No, the Kaiser 55mm Push-On Lens Cap cannot fit onto the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 VII Digital Camera.

Q: 3. this 45mm measurement is inside diameter????

A: Hi--since this is designed for a lens with a 45mm diameter, the actual diameter of this is slightly more than 45mm, probably 47-50mm.

Q: 4. What size would I need to protect the lens on my Lumix DC-ZS80?

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a lens protector for the lens on that camera.

Q: 5. Lens cap for binocular. I need 2 lens caps fir my compact binoculars. Barrel diameter 31mm. A push on cap. Do you have anything suitable?

A: Unfortunately binocular caps are often brand and model specific. I would recommend that you send us an email with your brand and model to: sportoptics@bhphoto.com and we can check if we have something that fits.

Q: 6. will this lens cap fit my 85mm 1.8 canon lens?

A: No. It's too big to fit this lens. The 85mm will fit 82mm filter thread. I think you will need the 61mm Kaiser cap

Q: 7. what is the inside diameter of the cap?

A: This is a 65mm push on cap. It is designed to go on a lens with an outer diameter of 65mm, meaning the inner diameter of the cap will also be 65mm.

Q: 8. Is this a replacement cap for a Pentax digital spotmeter?

A: The Kaiser 45mm push-on lens cap is a rubber lens cap with an internal diameter of 45mm that works on a variety of lenses and devices with the same diameter. We recommend using a measuring device (measuring tape or vernier calipers) to measure the front diameter of your Pentax digital spotmeter to find the correct fit.

Q: 9. does the 81.5 mm fit an 82mm step up? why 81.5mm?

A: I'd measure the outside diameter of the the step up with something accurate like vernier calipers or a micrometer. I purchased the 90mm push on Cap to fit a Schneider centre ND filter which I measured to be exactly 90mm outside diameter and the cap was a fairly tight fit.

Q: 10. will this fit a rollei 35s?

A: This Kaiser 40mm Push-On Lens Cap is not compatible with the Rollei 35S.

[0.015 lb] These are nice and snug, and they fit perfectly!! Why couldn't Bushnell come up with these in the first place?! They're great... I recommend them wholeheartedly. They fit much better than the caps that originally came with the scope.

[Slip-On] The generic lens cap fits well on my old lenses. It is rugged and does not fall off.

[0.015 lb] This cap is a perfect fit on a LEE 82mm WA adapter ring. I keep the adapter ring attached to my Zeiss Distagon T* 3,5/18 ZF.2 lens for use with a LEE wide angle lens hood.

[Front] Perfect fit on a range of E46 lenses. Best lens cap IMHO. Light. Does the job. Looks classic. Typography is different than the picture, but still nice.

[0.015 lb] I'm actually using this as a cap for my Nikon microscope eyepiece tube. Some older Nikon microscopes use this size, and this fits perfectly. I use these for many of my camera lenses as well, and it fits very well. They fit snugly, but not so snugly you can't get it off when you need to. These have to be one of my favorite caps.

[Slip-On] Finding a 92mm push-on lens cap is hard, with very few suppliers world-wide.
This one was brand new with a great price from B&H and very speedy dispatch and delivery to me in England.
Thank you!

[Slip-On] Fit perfectly over the end of my telescopes but pricey but I'm not found any other place that even carries 92 mm

[Slip-On] Works well so far. If you have a tight fitting case it can get caught and get pulled off, but that's true of any push-on cap. Seems a bit expensive, but it was the only option they had.

[0.015 lb] This cap fits very smoothly and snugly on the B+W 46 mm filters. I love these caps, especially for lens storage. They fit very well and protect lenses well and don't easily fall off and get lost. They are a lot less rattly than the pinch style caps. The only thing with these caps is you have to measure the outer diameter of whatever you need the cap for so you can get the correct cap since these go over the outside of the lens or filter. I also love how these caps fit even if your filter or lens does not have easily accessible or has recessed filter threads. The cap I got now has an updated and more modern looking design embossed on the front of the cap with the modern Schneider Kreuznach logo. Some of the older ones I have have the older logo. You can't go wrong with either. It's subtle and looks at home on the front of any lens from large format lenses to some nicer small or medium format lenses and cameras. The cap is domed, and will protect your lens even if the front element is flush with the top of the filter ring. It's also pretty deep, so it isn't too easy to dislodge it accidentally. It definitely will not come off in your bag. It is easy to take off and put back on if you are using it in the field, but in the field I tend not to use lens caps and just keep my front filter on to protect my lens from sticky fingers and mud. Of course these aren't as perfect as the SK Grimes custom caps, but for the something that comes in standard sizes, and for the price, these are well worth it.
