A: The FotodioX Vizelex Cine ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter for Canon EF or EF-S-Mount Lens to Select L-Mount Camera has a minimum ND setting of ND2 and does not have a clear setting. We do not carry an EF to L mount adapter with a variable ND built in that has a clear setting at this time.

Q: 2. Can this adapter adjust aperture?

A: Yes. For Nikon F-Mount, G-Type Lens, there is a ring on the adapter that turns to change the lens aperture. It can open or close the aperture, though there is no way of knowing the precise aperture the lens is set to.

Q: 3. Is this a 'smart' adapter meaning will it allow continuous af and exchange data with camera body?

A: Because this adapter has electronic communication, this would be able to allow for Continuous AF and exchange of data.

A: Because the RED Komodo is an RF mount, this will work on the camera.

A: This adapter lacks a rubber seal around the RF mount.

A: We do not stock this PL to Sony E adapter which is a special order item so we unfortunately cannot test this in combination with the Great Joy anamorphic lenses. .

Q: 8. Is this compatible with old Nikkor F-mount lenses, where you manually change the aperture on the lens? I know it would be compatible shooting video, but it is compatible to take photos/stills?

A: Yes it would also be compatible with those older Nikon F mount lenses to take photos/stills.

Q: 9. Is it actually starting at ND3/1 stop? The manufacturer's page says its ND4/2 stops for the PL to Nikon Z too. Thank you!

A: The FotodioX Vizelex Cine ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter (ARRI PL Lens to Nikon Z Camera) is 2-8 stops.

Q: 10. Is it possible to replace built-in ND filter with your own? Or is there another adapter Nikon-GFX allowing mounting your filter

A: No, the ND in the FotodioX Vizelex Cine ND Throttle Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon F-Mount, G-Type Lens to FUJIFILM G-Mount Camera is not replaceable. And there are no others we are aware of that have that option.

[Hasselblad X] Coming in under $100 I really wasn't sure if this was going to be the right fit for me or not. There are other variable ND filters that attach to the front of the lens that cost more than this ND/adapter so I figured there would be some quality issues. But I've been using this adapter a ton and have really been enjoying it! I haven't noticed any issues with image or build quality and it's been painless to use. I also enjoy that the ND glass protects my sensor whenever I change lenses so I don't have to be as concerned about particles getting into my camera. Finally, I wasn't sure that 8 stops of ND was going to be enough while shooting in peak daylight at f1.4, ISO640, and 1/125 shutter on my A7sIII but boy was I wrong! I stopped down the ND to about half and it was plenty. 5

[Hasselblad X] Had an older Hasselblad lenses I was not using. Decided to put it back in service with my Nikon D7100. Initial testing is proving very good. Very glad I decided to go the route of an adapter. The Hasselblad lens is excellent glass. The Vizelex ND Throttle is constructed very well, fits the camera and lens very well. ND filter will come in very handy. Would buy again. 5

[Hasselblad X] I just received this adapter. Fit is excellent on camera and lens. Mounted my 75-300mm AF Nikkor and took some fun shots while waiting to get the kit outdoors. ND filter is very smooth. Definitely recommend this adapter. 5

[Hasselblad X] For a person who hates the inconvenience and expenses of having to have all sorts of ND filters in different sizes this product is a Godsend. The filter is built into the adapter, and placed at the back, between the back lens element and the sensor. It works great! Besides providing the ability the throttle ND gives you to shoot at the aperture of your choice in bright sun light, the filter provides the added benefit of protecting the sensor when you change lenses. So, no more worries about buying all those ND filters in different lens sizes. The throttle ND adapter works for all your lenses of that mount type. Highly recommended. 5
