[Ground] Ive been using the E-Image for the past three years and have been very satisfied with it. Ive not had any mechanical issues with tension knobs or leaks from the fluid head. Its nice and solid with very little flex. I have seen some of these models where the rubber soles have come off the feet but thats easily fixable with a little glue. The only drawback, IMO, is that theres no good way to add tension to your pans. You can jockey the pan lock to give it a little but thats not what its for. Even so I wouldnt have expected that kind of feature at this price point. This tripod is an INCREDIBLE value, especially since they often run deals to sell it at $150 instead of $220. Cant recommend enough!

[Aluminum] Strong stable bowl tripod that fits into carry on. The spec is that the folded length is 19.5 inches. Fits perfectly. Had no vibration with 70-200mm lens with 2x extender, in windy conditions. I had the legs spread to 60 degrees, and had zero concern that the 30 mph wind gusts would tip it over. The bag that came with it is overkill. It is 3 feet long, and wasn't designed for this tripod. My use case is video of mountain wildlife. It handles it.

[+90° to -70°] I see all the time these crazy expensive pairs of sticks and it hurts my brain haha. I needed something strong durable and not bank busting and this is my guy! I ended up buying 3 of these so all my cameras have one to live on!

Seems sturdy and smooth

[2] I bought this tripod to hold my fully-rigged Sony FS-700 with a matte box, external recorder/monitor, batter pack and various sound attachments. I probably have at least 30 lbs of gear sitting on this thing when shooting. The smoothness of the head is unparalleled. The tripod is super solid, great construction, easy to use and it just feels right. I was hesitant to buy this at first because there were no reviews but I feel like I've just found a best-kept secret of sorts in the world of tripods. I made the jump to this professional-grade tripod after years of trying to buy cheaper options. Glad I did! I'll have this pair of sticks for a long time. I'm a huge Acebil fan now!

[Yes] I had originally bought this tripod for my kid, but after unpacking it and using it once – he can keep my old tripod. Steady and rock solid, fluid – I can not recommend this tripod more.

[+90° to -70°] I have purchased a LOT of cases and bags from B&H over the years, from Lightware, Porta-Brace, Manfrotto, Ultimate support, Kessler Crane, etc. It seems that typically cases in the under $100 range are not very good quality, and really good bags are 2-3x more expensive. But in this case, I have to day that the Acebil S-50 case is really well-made with good padding and sturdy fabric. I am very pleasantly surprised. I am not actually using it for tripods or lighting - it happens to perfectly fit the Park Tool PCS 10.3 folding bicycle maintenance stand, so I can take it on road trips easily.

[Fluid Head] The E-Image tripod is super slick. The adjustable drag gives you some options for smooth pans at different speeds. It's extremely stable and solid with the ability to flip from rubber non-skid indoor feet to double spikes for anchoring firmly outside. It opens and closes and raises and lowers with ease and evenly. It's hefty enough to handle a larger camera. The mounting device is also quick to remove and set up. It's a lot of value for the price.
