A: While I have not personally used the Pancro Professional Lens Cleaner, the lens cleaning solution was rated the best lens cleaning solution at the Camera Assistant Olympics. I personally use and recommend Residual Oil Remover (ROR), but I do plan to try the Pancro Professional Lens Cleaner and I expect both to be very competent in cleaning multi-coated optical glass with little to no residue.

Q: 10. Can this top plate hold a monitor 5 or 7 inch with a big battery ?

A: Yes, the Smallrig Top Plate for Sony FX3 XLR Unit, would be able to hold a 5-7" monitor, or a battery, or any other accessory that can mount via 1/4"-20 screw or shoe mount.

I like it a lot and it comes with a rod adapter that easily can be removed to fit another other size. So I was able to use a rod that I had previously purchased with it 5

I'm constantly tinkering with my rigs and I'd been envisioning some sort of manfrotto plate with something like this built-in. This is better yet. It doesn't replace a proper setup, but sometimes you just need to throw a follow focus on and keep it as light as possible. Love this thing. 5

Now I am able to mount my 5 monitor on top of the audio unit and no worries about weight. It is a dependable connection and places the monitor forward which is much better than at the other end of the handle which is too close to my face. If you have nothing to mount then there is no point but if you do (audio, monitor, etc) then this is perfect. 5

I was curious how secure this would feel, rest assured it's very secure, and it's really nice to have the mounting options on top of the audio box. It also helps keep a low profile when mounting stuff on top of the camera. 5

I have a Ronin SC gimbal and a tripod with an Avella fluid head. Unfortunately, the plates were not compatible. I bought this - the base plate fits in the Avella head and i put the bottom part on the gimbal so that I can now switch between the two quickly without having to switch plates. 5

Very sturdy and puts my monitor where I want it. I have been using a magic arm for a while and that's ok but it's heavy, bulky, and doesn't allow for a tilt-swivel mount without even more weight. This puts my monitor up front where I want it and adds minimal weight and bulk. Very glad I purchased. 5

If you are using regular WFF, this piece is what you need for it. I use this on SmallRig long RS2 plate. This works. You may want to grab yourself a very short 15mm rod tho. 5

I hate cages, they make cameras heavy and bulky. For run & gun filmmaking, with this part you don't need anything else on your Fx3 . 5
