  • You can now drag phrases like intros, verses, or choruses straight from the interactive UI keyboard to the Beatmaker instrument track of your DAW. This opens up a slew of creative options.

  • The Mix section features a set of 12 Mix Presets, optimized for classic drum machines and grooves.
  • Use the Amount knob for thumping lows, smooth stereo widening, slap delay, EQ carving, and many other processing methods rolled into 12 Mix presets, allowing you to transform the sound of your beats in moments.
  • Use the Beat Intensity control to make quick changes—e.g., to adjust energy levels between your verse and chorus.

  • Carve out the mids, crank the sub, and add shimmer to the highs all at once, straight into a slammed compressor for maximum impact. You can also set the control negative for a tight midrange knock.

  • The Master Section processes the stereo output of Beatmaker, excluding the Instruments you’ve sent through Individual Outputs.
  • It offers one-knob saturation, a loudness maximizer, an Ambience selector, Sweep dual filter, a Maximizer, and more.

  • With individual outputs, you can route any instrument or channel from Beatmaker to separate channels on your DAWs mixer.

  • Exclusive Studio One (v4.6.2 and later) piano roll integration: The names of styles and drum-elements are displayed on the keys of your piano roll to help you find the right styles and drums faster and easier for your track.
  • The scale range of the styles and instruments are highlighted with a red line on the left side of your piano roll.

Q: 1. I have the Canon Mark 5DIII and the Canon 430 EX II flash. If I buy one Flex TT5 will I be able to fire the flash off camera? Would one work if later I wanted to fire two flashes, one on camera (attached to the Flex) and one off camera?I am wondering if I need any other products to make off camera flash work with the Flex TT5.Thank you! Michelle

A: In order to work with the PocketWizard system you'll need at least two units, one on your camera and one on your off camera flash. The unit connected to your flash off camera will have to be the Flex TT5, the unit on your camera could either be another Flex TT5 or the smaller Mini TT1 (which is a transmitter only). You can always add more flashes into this system later on.

Q: 2. Can you attach this to the Manfrotto 500 video head (the one for the new MVMXPRO monopod ?Can it stop/start a GH4 via LANC (and zoom on a PZ lens ?)

A: Manfrotto does not list any of their controllers working with the GH4. Therefore the compatibility of the Manfrotto RC Pan Bar EX Remote Control for LANC Cameras B&H # MAMVR901EPLA is unknown. Also, the compatibility of the two different pan handles is not listed. You may have to use the Manfrotto Pan Bar Clamp Attachment for MVR901EPLA and MVR901EPEX Pan Bar Remotes B&H # MAMVR901APCL to attach the remote handle to the tripods handle. However, there are reports of this Manfrotto Clamp-On Zoom Remote Control for Canon/Sony Cameras with LANC Control and Panasonic Cameras B&H # MAMVR901ECPL working with the GH4 and Panasonic PZ 45-175mm lens. This may include the PZ 14-42mm lens as well.

Q: 3. I am planning to get two FlexTT5's; one for my D7100 & other for my SB-910. Pls guide whether I need to purchase any other cable/cords apart from the two FlexTT5's.

A: Nothing else would be needed; all items necessary to use your setup together would be included with the PocketWizard FlexTT5 Transceiver Remotes. The FlexTT5 would connect to the top of the hot shoe on the Nikon D7100 DSLR camera, and would connect to the hot shoe on the bottom of the Nikon SB-910 Speedlight Flash. The batteries needed to operate the FlexTT5 are included with the units.

Q: 4. Are these hard or soft cases?

A: These come with soft cases that seem to be made of a felt like material.

Q: 5. What on this device controls the zoom? Is it the knob near the top or does the handle turn like a motorcycle throttle? It seems awkward to me to use the knob at the top while panning or titling, but the handle turn would work well.

A: If you are referring to the tiny knob at the top of the control panel, that is for adjusting the speed of whatever you are controlling. The switch on the right side switches from Zoom to focus control. The butterfly wheel at the back by the handle controls the zoom/focus. The handle does not spin!

Q: 6. Do these lenses work with Auto Focus?

A: These are manual focus only lenses. These lenses are meant for movie production with a large crew including a focus puller to maintain focus.

Q: 7. If I had a 3 flash set up, would I buy 3 of these? Or is there a receiver only model? (SB-700)

A: For three flash you would buy four, one for the camera and one per flash.

Q: 8. Will this work with the GH5 and 2 Elinchrom / Godox strobe lights?

A: HI! the one I have is for Nikon and works very well mixing strobes with plusX trigger and Nikon SB 700, 600 at the same time. I believe that if you choose the one for Panasonic will works well. Look is TT5 is for Panasonic also or just for Nikon, I remember that TT4 is for Canon

Q: 9. I am using flextt5 and need to synch with LiteTrek 4.0 DC Monolight . What synch cable do I use? I could guess but don't want to do trial and error approach.

A: You would need a mini to mini sync cable (B&H # IMMMMM16)

Q: 10. Does it works with the BMD 4K Studio Camera?

A: yes it works with the Black magic 4k studio camera

[4 GB] I'm just getting to know the program, and haven't had enough time with it, but the sound samples are fantastic - just what I was looking for.

[1280 x 768] I've been waiting for a while to buy this addition to my Spectrasonics collection and must say this is worth the purchase...the sounds are so great that I'll practice playing the piano and adding it to my productions.

[720 MB] I think I own everything Spectrasonics has produced in at least the last 10 years. Keyscape is yet another must-have. Everyone on that team does great work. I recently had occasion to visit the studio containing many of the original instruments sampled for this collection, and while that was cool, I'm happier simply having access to this library on my computer. :-)

[1280 x 768] I own many piano libraries as well as a real Steinway B so I was not expecting Keyscape to be as good as it is. I have not had time to explore much beyond the Rhodes and Yamaha C7 sounds but those are excellent and have easily replaced other libraries for me. The sounds work very well in my mixes. It does take a fairly hefty computer with an SSD, however, to run.

[720 MB ] It's worth it for the stunning acoustic and electric pianos alone (each of which would cost far more than this entire collection), but it's really nice for producers to have even more unique sounds of rare and exotic instruments (with bells, tines, and plucked sounds), all with great FX. And as if that's not enough, those of us with Spectrasonics Omnisphere enjoy the integration into that VST with a horde of already crafted patches that meld the two.
