The Telex BTR-800 UHF Base Station with A5F Headset Jackis a 2-channel, frequency-agile UHF wireless intercom Base Station, with channel access from each of four full-duplex beltpacks, stage announce output with relay closure, wireless talk around (ISO), the patented Enhanced ClearScan channel search feature, and a talk/listen headset station at the base.

The BTR-800 features a transparent graphical user interface and a backlit display, with advanced technology functions such as combination tone code/RF noise squelch and DSP digital audio processing.

This unit has an A5F headset jack and works on HE: 500 to 518 MHz Transmit / 590 to 608 MHz Receive frequencies.

[1x RJ45] i am a semi-retired, professional sports camera operator, out of the boston/hartford market. i have done over 2000 shows of varying levels. little league, to the world series and stanley cup. i was at low third for 20 years at fenway, and right handheld at the bruins for the same. i quit the bruins about 5 years ago, when i could no longer stand the noise level (PA generated) at TD Garden. and it's not just there. small arenas like Quinnipiac, Holy Cross, etc. seem to think loud equals exciting, thus, louder equals more exciting. one day at providence college, the truck happened to have these heads sets. i loved them immediately, as the noise cancelling was fantastic. they sound good too. both to me, and to others when i speak. i asked a techno-geek where i could get a pair. he sent me a link. my husband saw the link, and got me them for christmas. 2 shows in...maybe I'll unretire 5

[4] The PH-88 is ubiquitous in broadcast control rooms and live production trucks, and for good reason. Good for all-day use, high quality speaker and microphone, durable, reliable, easy to fix and adapt for at-home use. $180 may look like a steep price for this, but it's the least expensive piece of pro production gear, and the one that gets the most use. Well worth the price. 5

[4] ....and with these you get a GREAT headset. This was the second round of headsets I ordered after being displeased with the build quality of another brand that I had previously ordered. These are quality, solid built, headsets and the work perfectly for their intended purpose. I bought them for camera operators to use in a house of worship setting. The dual sided earphones offer ample sound isolation for our camera operators. The room noise level peaks around 90db and the camera operators have no issue hearing the director. Great Buy, will buy more in the future as needed! 5
