[Zipper] I wanted a case that would protect my Zeiss lenses and my Nikon D800E when working in the field, mostly landscape shooting out of the back of my hatchback. I am very pleased with the flexibility of this case and many dividers that come with it. It feels very sturdy and provides good protection to the gear. It is tall enough to accommodate the camera with a 50 Makro attached and a 105mm Nikkor, three other Zeiss lenses and some DSLR video gear, including a shotgun microphone.

[Handle] This bag is easily my favorite bag to date. Super durable. Perfect for building camera the night before the shoot. It’s been a huge time saver on set. Got got buy 1 or 2 more for different setups.

[2.425 lb] I love Porta Brace for their consistently high quality products, and though this item in particular has a few design flaws it's still an incredibly high quality product which over 3 years I have purchased multiple of, all of which still come on every single shoot and are perfectly in tact (sellable even).

As others have mentioned, the internal dividers are slightly (about 2cm) too short to reach from end-to-end – I have zero idea why they are made like this. However, there is obviously enough length and strength on the velcro to connect the two sides. And although the actual dividers are too short.. I have surprisingly never had a divider come loose.
Secondly, the dividers don't offer a lot of options in terms of customisation. If you don't install the long divider down the middle, you can't really do anything else with the dividers. Also once installed each section is too large to (I feel) safely and securely hold a photography lens. Each section is either too tall (if the lens is laying down) or too wide (if the lens is standing up) and therefore will roll and bounce around is the case. It works great for accessories and audio equipment, but I wouldn't use this case for lenses.
And finally on a positive note, I have seen others mentioned concerns about the handle and it not feeling tough. I would agree with this except after 3 years of using the handle with the case filled with equipment – none of the handles on my cases have ever broken.. and that's Porta Brace for you.

[Zipper] Actually I’m using this bag with an S1H and it works great - I needed something bigger than a normal dslr camera bag and the big one I hauled around when I used my Varicam to carry all the extras that I needed - I didn’t want to breakdown/setup the S1H after every shot - so this bag gave me the opportunity to leave most of it together - It makes setup and take down easier than having to talk to a client for 20 minutes while I try and rig out my camera - leave it to portabrace - thanks - tim

[Zipper] Porta-Brace is Porta-Brace. Always well made. The internal dividers were easy to install. We have a 4-piece cine lens set and the zoom lens that came with our FS7, plus several adapters. All fit easily.

Soft sides, so you need to be cautious, but not a big issue.

[Handle] Nice bag for lenses but can be used for other things because all of the dividers can be moved however you want. Bag is light and sturdy and strong on the sides. I can put 8 Rokinon Cine lenses in the case. Typical Porta Brace quality. Very Nice

[Handle] Holds the fixture, stand, diffusers as well as multiple items I have in it like a grid cloth, Mattbounce for the other side, etc.
