Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this card used get honored by synology the 5 year warranty from date of purchase?

A: Yes, this Synology E10G18-T1 10GbE PCIe Expansion Card includes a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

Q: 2. Does it work on DS1821+ ? I see on Synology website that it will, but wanted to double check since it wasn't listed here.

A: Yes, the Synology E10G18-T1 10GbE PCIe Expansion Card will work with the DS1821+.

Q: 3. What iwill be the data transfer speeds in MB/s when paired with a PCIe 5.0 x,16 System

A: Data transfer speeds are up to 26,000 MB/s on the OWC 16TB Accelsior 8M2 PCIe 4.0 Storage Card.

Q: 4. I bought the avermedia live gamer hd 2 card from B&H. The video capture (HDMI) is dingy looking and not sharp. All my cameras show a sharp picture on my other capture cards?

A: For troubleshooting help, please reach out to us at pc@bhphotovideo.com.

Q: 5. Is this card compatible with Adobe audition?

A: Absolutely - depending on the version of Audition you use, it may require the WDM driver set to be installed, which is included in the download drivers form Digigram. I have probably half a dozen PC's using this card and Adobe Audition V3.

Q: 6. What Thunderbolt 4 controller does this card have?

A: The manufacturer hasn't specified the Thunderbolt 4 controller used in the HP Dual TBT4 PCIe x4 Low-Profile Card.

Q: 7. What is the round latency spec for each sample rate?

A: Roundtrip latency would be calculated by having an analog conversion and back again. The Focusrite RedNet PCIeNX Dante PCIe Dante Interface Card does not have any analog IO, so to measure roundtrip, it would need to be paired with another device to measure, which would also add to the latency time. Being that all analog IO has slightly different latency specs, Focusrite did not want to release a spec based on a specific analog IO’s latency spec along with the cards. This is why Focusrite uses the terminology 'ultra-low roundtrip latency'.

Q: 8. Will this SIIG USB 3.0 adapter card fully plug-n-play with a Win7/64-bit computer, meaning I wouldn't have to install a driver from either a CD that came with it or be forced to go find it somewhere on the Internet?

A: Windows 7 should be able to recognize and install the missing driver. It worked for me without any issues.

Q: 9. Where do you find the driver for this? This chipset driver download isn't available on Marvelle site, only the older shipset do.

A: Obtain from: https://www.marvell.com/support/downloads.html Select Marvel Public Drivers. This card uses an AQC113 chipset, which is not listed. Select Part Number AQC108 then select operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux). Installed without a problem in a Gen 4 slot and transfers up to 10Gb with the Marvell Windows driver.

Q: 10. can i use this adapter on my windows machine?

A: No. The Synology E10G18-T1 10GbE PCIe Expansion Card B&H # SYE10G18T1 is designed for selected Synology NAS Servers.

[PCIe Card Slot ] Do not bother with other items, go with the one that will do the job!

[PCIe Card Slot ] I purchased this to take advantage of my 3Gbps connection, my X670E Tomahawk does 2.5gGbps and I would see 2.3gbps upload/download during a speedtest.net, upon placing this card in the bottom slot and installing the driver I was back up and running in under 10 minutes on Windows 11. Now my internet connection does 3.2gbps without any downsides thanks to the gen 4 connection. I would recommend this card it was very easy to get running on W11.

[PCIe] This card is the best combo-card option for a Mac Pro 5,1 (2010-2012) for adding 2 NVMe SSDs and 2 USB 3.2 ports. Note that using the 10 GB Ethernet port will cause a kernel panic, no big deal as the Mac Pro already has 2 1GB ports.

[PCIe] Received item quickly and before scheduled arrival date. Tested it and it works without any problems. No driver updates necessary. System recognized it. Software (OBS) recognized it. Other video apps too see the capture card.

B&H thank you for great shopping experience.

Avermedia Thank you for a nice product.

[PCIe] I upgraded my network to 10Gb, and this little card stand out from the rest, it is probably one of the few ones that are Gen4. I tested on X4 and I was able to get 8Gb/s transfer rate (which is the limit for Gen4x4) installing drivers was simple to get the *inf file from Marvel.

I ran into an issue that on high bandwidth, the network card disconnects and required me to restart the adapter, after talking to the excellent customer services, turned out to be an old / conflicting driver that was causing the issue. removing that solved the problem.

[PCIe] Due to its USB slot this state of the art sound card is the one you would choose if you are a broadcaster or professionally record sound on journey. B and H sells these at a budget price. Seen same for twice as much at some retailers.

[PCIe] The card works great and allows me to input audio from my mixer board. I am using OBS software rather tah the software that came with the board.

[PCIe] My third purchase of the OWC card. Replaced a 2.5 GbE card (PCIe 3.0). Actually averages 10-15 MB faster throughput speeds on file transfers @ 2.5 in the same 4.0 slot. Waiting for the QNAP QSW-M3216R-8S8T switch to be restocked at B&H to get to full 10 GbE on the network. The QNAP allows for link static aggregation. Using 2 cards in each computer, should allow 20 GbE transfers with copper. Will require additional purchases of this card to accomplish this, but well worth it for just using CAT6a and CAT8 copper. Better able keep up with the NVMe drives R/W in the computers. Well satisfied with these cards performance, especially in 10 GbE mode. (See below)

[PCIe] I use this for a live set up running Logic/Mainstage out from my lap top to a PA. This item is unique because it's perhaps the only 2 channel, portable usb interface with BALANCED OUTPUTS. I run my vocal mic into it as well as midi keyboards out. Everything works great. Sound is good. Price is right. Very happy.
