Recharging the battery can take between 5.5 to 6.5 hours, but that shouldn't stop your day of diving. With the ability to change batteries, you can purchase optional packs to extend your time underwater for as long as you'd like.

Dialing in your preferred buoyancy is made to be easy with the Navtech 2. Simply insert one to four of the included ballast weights into the integrated slots underneath the seascooter.

When swimming in saltwater, a self-filling ballast hull almost instantly achieves neutral buoyancy. Strategically placed drain holes let water in to achieve this neutral buoyancy when submerged but will drain quickly when you rise to the surface.

To protect the internal systems, Nautica equipped the Navtech 2 with a water leak sensor. If triggered, the sensor will automatically stop the motor every 10 seconds until it surfaces.

  • For ages 16 and up
  • Camera mount for optional action cams
  • Double layer O-ring seal on the battery compartment
  • Inner nose O-ring seal on the battery's fast charging port

Q: 6. hello does it fit a canon eos 700D with sigma 17-50mm lens?thanks

A: The Canon EOS 700D with the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM Lens for Canon EF will fit in the Outex 100X Underwater Camera Cover (Small). For all Outex Covers you do need a glass and ring to match your lens. You have two choices. You could use the Outex Front Glass for Underwater Camera Cover (77mm Filter Thread) B&H # OU77MM. This glass will make everything underwater look 25% larger and closer. It really for working in the water but on the surface. Here is the link: https://bhpho.to/2QaW6E5 For shooting underwater the Outex 120mm Dome Lens B&H # OUDOME120MM is the better option. This dome corrects the size distortion and is good for over/ under photos. Besides the dome you will need the Outex 77mm Adapter for 120mm Dome B&H # OUADPTR677MM. Q: 7. Will this fit a canon 1Dx MarkIII with a 100-400mm lens?

Q: 8. Is there a specific way to pair the remote with the dolly? I am unable to get the dolly to respond with the remote.

Q: 9. Can this be set to automatically go back and forth from 2 designated point?

A: We are not aware of this slider having that capability. It comes with a basic blue tooth remote that allows you to go forward and reverse manually.

[21.9 VDC] Here is the most important thing you will need to know... IT WORKS! Putting your 5D Mark III into a body of water with a $2500 dollar lens and a flash does not feel natural in any way the first time you ease it into the water. But life is life and if it was going to leak I was going to find out the hard way, It did not leak. Humidity packets that came with it got rid of fog. The only tricky thing is that you really need to dial in your settings before getting in there, or use it on full auto. I shoot in Pools in Manual and it worked fine with a bit of going back and adjusting settings again. Direct flash looks terrible underwater as it does above water, so I am still not sure I will use flash again for my underwater needs. Great thing is I can turn flash on and off through the housing anyways so, not a big deal to have there just in case. The plastic does warp your lcd image and makes it look cloudy, the first time I thought everything looked terrible until I took it out of the thick plastic housing. Bottom line, this works, and the company that makes it guarantees your gear in case of manufacturing failure. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!

[21.9 VDC] Light weight and easy to use. I started using it with my Canon EOS10D and am still using it with the EOS 50D. With all other housings I would have had to buy a new one each time I changed the camera...

[21.9 VDC] This really is an amazing housing for the price. The first one I had I used I actually found in the basement at my parents house. It had been sitting there for 10+ years and I did a leak test, still worked, and I used it to do surf photography for the first time. It did eventually split open at the side, but I did catch it before going in the water. It lasted a good 6 months which was amazing because it was at least 10 years old. So I bought another one! I loved the second one for a long time and my mistake was leaving it in the car in the heat :-( It shrunk because it got too hot in my trunk, then when I put the camera in it, the housing was soft and the side split open. My fault here for sure. So I bought another one, hahahaha :-) Moral of the story here is to just continuously do water checks for your housing, it is soft housing so just be aware of not leaving it in your car for a day when you aren't using it, but this has been such an amazing an affordable option for me until I can buy a proper water housing. The only downside is it is too hard to change the settings once the camera is in the housing. So I use masking tape to keep my lens set at infinity, then I set my aperture and shutter speed depending on the light, sometimes auto if it's one of those days, and then just go for it! I have taken some amazing photos and love love love how much I've learned to get creative with my settings because of the restriction of being able to change it in the moment :-) It gets 5 stars because for a tenth of the price I get to create amazing photos and enjoy surf photography! I don't have to wait to spend 2500+ on a housing to do what I want :-) And as with any type of water housing, there is always a risk of ruining your camera. I already lost one camera to the sea :-) But the joy of ocean photography is so worth it so I'm willing to jump into the possibility of doing it again! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!

[21.9 VDC] Upon my first look, I knew this was the underwater scooter of my dreams. So soon I will be able to test it out and give out my view on how it handles, However it would have been appreciated that either the hook up or flooter be included with the purchases. As having it as item not included and purchased seperately it a tad underwelming.

In general dont hesitate to plunge into buying this scooter.

Cheers and keep on scuba diving.

Louis

[21.9 VDC] I went diving for the first time and bought this housing to take my Canon T3i underwater with me. I only dove 7 meters/21 feet, but it worked perfectly fine for me. No leaks or moisture inside at all and it fit my Canon 10-22mm EF-S lens perfectly. There was plenty of room for the flash too. I couldn't really change settings underwater while diving, although I could in the housing above water. I was hoping to switch to movie mode at some point, but wasn't able to. In reality, I don't think I would have been able to hold it straight in front of me steady enough while diving in order to do video anyway. That's probably just because I have no diving experience though. I set it to A+ (scene intelligent auto) mode for the underwater shots so I wouldn't have to change any manual settings. I had to let almost all of the air out in order to get it below the surface of the water, even with the lead weight in the case. Since it wasn't a deep dive, I didn't have any problems with the housing shrinking around the camera at all.I was able to take some photos that I'm really happy with underwater and even above water. The glass doesn't seem to blur the image at all EXCEPT for when you're above water and have water drops on the glass. I also used this case while kayaking in the rain and those shots are blurry.

[21.9 VDC] This is a really great housing. I have been using it for surf photography. The housings made for surf photography can run you a couple of thousand, minimum, so this one is an awesome way to get started! It's a bit tricky without being able to test the settings and the lens port requires some cropping in post when using wide angle lenses. Totally worth it though!

[21.9 VDC] Decided to get this over cheaper alternatives mainly due to:1) optical glass for better image quality2) adaptor to hold front of glass against your lens which really help in preventing any vignetting I do have previous experience using sports housings by aquatech for sports photography and got this more for casual beach side usage. Overall, am very satisfied by the quality of the housing and the images produced out of it.
