The FotodioX Pro and Pro Studio Solution EZ-Pro modifiers require only the speedring insert, while the Pro Classic Softboxes require both the insert and plate. The insert has an all-metal construction and an outer diameter of 6".

Q: 4. Hi would this speed ring work with the normal Rotalux 175cm (69") to make it indirect? If yes, then does it have a problem with lights since normal rotalux is not as deep as the indirect rotalux?

Q: 5. The Elinchrom speed ring that came with the 60 soft box doesnt fit securely. I have to attach the speed ring to the moonlight, then sort of fit the soft box on it after. Is it supposed to be set up like that?

Q: 6. Regarding the white circular reflector attached by 3 posts in the middle of the dish, which side faces out, the concave or convex side? I ask because the concave side is not very well painted whereas the convex side is well painted.

[Metal] I have recently purchased the Magmod kit and couldn’t wait to purchase speed rings for all my lighting equipment. This system is amazing! So easy and well built. The speed ring was a perfect fit and worth every penny! Say goodbye to bulky soft boxes! I hope they come out with a larger soft box for this system- I will be first in line! 5

[Metal] This is being used to feed RCA feed-through jacks into wooden enclosure, not the intended use, but it fit the bill for the right price. Finish is superb and machine is precise. 5

[Metal] The one I received is a newer version It's bulkier and more metal (the rink that goes into strobe is metal now) It's a bit uglier looking but I guess it can handle a strobe's weight now (although I still like to use extension heads) A must have if you prefer softer light with no hot spot I use it with all of my elinchrom rotaluxes (39" deep, 59" deep and 69" shallow) 5

[Metal] The bottom of the camera has a little shelf that makes it kind of touchy on a baseplate. This fills the gap and let's you use a standard baseplate to keep everything bolted down. 5

[Metal] I was on the fence about this. I already had v-flats and wanted to just use those as eyelighter instead of buying a big eyelighter reflector. This little thing did the job well and I can definitely see using it to hold various reflectors a lot. Will I get an eyelighter reflector in the future? Yes, but for now this is cheap and fine. 5
