Keyboard and mouse emulation makes swapping between systems easy by ensuring your devices are always connected so you can get to work on multiple devices without resetting any of your systems. USB device detection prevents unauthorized peripheral usage and adds a layer of safety to your setup.

Anti-Tamper labeling is located around the KVM and the packaging, telling you if an unauthorized user has accessed your device whether it is in transit or sitting at your desk.

Meeting NIAP PP PSD 4.0 compliance ensures that this KVM aligns with security standards, preventing information from leaking and keeping your systems safe from breaches via monitor sources and unidirectional data pathing.

TAA compliance ensures that this KVM was constructed in a certified environment and country, meeting the needs of contractors who need devices for facilities that host sensitive data.

Customizable port coloring and naming on the remote-control unit facilitates port identification and reduces user switching errors for accurate system switching.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Hypothetically, "official compatibility" or not - would this work on any QNAP with PCIe? If so, is there speed limitations? Asking for a friend.

A: The card is meant to be installed within a QNAP unit. As per the manufacturer: The QXP-T32P can only be installed in a PCIe Gen 3 x4 slot in the TVS-h1288X or TVS-h1688. The speed will be up to 40 Gbps.

Q: 2. Is it compatible with TS 563?

A: The QXP-T32P Thunderbolt 3 expansion card can only be installed in a PCIe Gen 3 x4 slot in the QNAP TVS-h1288X or TVS-h1688 NAS devices.

Q: 3. Is the power adapter 110v? Is 220v? please answer about my question

A: The power adapter is 100-120v only. It does not work with 220v.

Q: 4. free volts?

A: The Belkin F4U041TT 7-Port Ultra-Slim Desktop USB Hub complies with USB standard. USB 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 all use 5 volts only.

Q: 5. Can it be installed in the QNAP TS-H1290FX?

A: The QNAP Dual-Port Thunderbolt 3 Expansion Card is only compatible with the QNAP TVS-h1288X 12-Bay NAS Enclosure (B&H # QNTSH1288W1).

Q: 6. Can I run 2 of these and have that be all the Ubiquiti things I own?

A: Yes, the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 In-Wall Dual-Band Wi-Fi Access Point & 4-Port PoE Compliant Gigabit Switch is compatible with other brands of network equipment.

Q: 7. can this remplace one of the TVS-1282T3?

A: The Qnap Dual-Port Thunderbolt 3 Expansion Card can be used with the TVS-1282T3.

Q: 8. 4 POE output or 1 POE output? B&H description says 4 but Ubiquiti website says 1.

A: The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U6 In-Wall Dual-Band Wi-Fi Access Point & 4-Port PoE Compliant Gigabit Switch has a single PoE uplink port, which can be used to power the device/connect to your larger network, and the four RJ45 ports support PoE pass through power when the UniFi U6 In-Wall Dual-Band Wi-Fi Access Point is being powered via PoE+ power from a Networkswitch with PoE+ power output. So to answer your question, this in-wall access point has both, it depends on how you power it.

Q: 9. Can this hub power external hard drives snd my external mad dvd drive?

A: It would require the use of the AC adapter.

Q: 10. Somebody using this hub in OS X El Capitan?Any speed issues? Thanks

A: This hub will work with El Capitan without issue.

[2] Make sure to actually use the usb output that matches the computer your are testing your mouse+keyboard with. I had the keyboard+mouse not working like some mentioned in other comments/reviews. I contacted the support team which helped me make it work correctly. It's silly but we never know what would have with lack of coffee :) .

[Yes] I have had this product for nearly 3 years - simple to set up, switches between Mac & PC with two 2560x1440 displays and logitech wireless mouse / keyboard. Super easy to use - couldn't have hoped for a more trouble-free better product.

[0 to 80% ()] Since I only needed this for video and keyboard, I haven't tested the way in which it handles audio. But for my needs (switching between Mac Pro 5,1 and a Macbook Pro) it works fine. I did need two adapters to go from Display Port to Mini Display Port.

[0 to 80% ()] I have had the SV340D since 2020 and its extremely stable between a mix of Linux and Windows (now just Linux) systems. I don't use dual head anymore, since displays are so big, so if buying today I would have likely gone with the single head model & saved quite a bit.

The only problem Ive had is HDMI, like me, sticking around for much longer than I expected.

p.s. if you are converting from HDMI to DP KVM you might want to consider either the universal video interface model, which can handleDP, HDMI, and DVI-D (with an adapter cable) or the conversion cable, both from Vertiv. Common HDMI to DP and Thunderbolt to DP active cables work fine with static displays but not with any KVMs that I have ever seen or heard about.

[2x Proprietary] I have this switch set up to allow me to switch between a Retina MacBook Pro and my tower gaming PC with Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card, and it performs the job very well. Previously I had a similar setup using an IOGear DVI+USB KVM switch between MacBook Pro and my older tower PC, with just a DVI-to-DisplayPort adapter on the video cable to the Mac. For the new setup I bought a DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable for the Mac (could have used an adapter but the cable was $10 and it's less... lumpy... this way.) I've only been using it for a week or so, but it's working great! Comes with all cables, which seem to be solid quality, and fully bus-powered - small and light but seems well made. The older IOGear DVI+USB2 switch wasn't as expensive as this when it was new, but I guess that's the price I pay for going 4K. I did my usual research on all available DisplayPort + USB switch options before selecting this one, and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice here. If you're trying to drive a 2K or 4K monitor from two DisplayPort-equipped machines and share a mouse and keyboard between them, this is the ticket.

[2] I would recommend this to anyone with dual monitors and two pc’s. The only issue I had was that Windows 7 kept adjusting the displays when I switched between computers. It was a real annoyance to find all my windows, icons and screen resolutions messed up every time I switched. I finally after about a week of annoyances found a setting in my catalyst control center to disable display polling which fixed the problem for me.

[2x USB-A Female] Switch worked perfect out of the box. It was purchased mainly to take care of workstation and laptop being connected to the same monitor (ASUS) through DisplayPort. Bonus - now I can use same keyboard. Works great so far.

[2] Literally plug and play at its best. Switch to go between 2 computers is handy, which has a long cord.
