I am an IT person and being able to organize everything in my backpack is essential to be efficient at my job. All the pockets and storage space in the Nomatic backpack help me do that. It also has a water bottle holder on the outside of the bag, for whatever reason in corporate backpacks that is a feature not something standard.

Of course the bag is incredible. I get tons of compliments about how cool this bag looks. And it’s not just good lookin’; it’s truly the most functional bag I’ve ever had. I recently got the LTT bag as a gift and tried it for a while. I immediately missed everything about my Nomatic. I returned the LTT and repented of my apostasy. Never again will I stray from you, Nomatic backpack.

[Yes] not just comfortable, but it also fits everything and more without being overly bulky or seeming like a camping backpack. i manage to fit my mirrorless with lens on it, another lens, a flash, and a mavic 3 and controller, as well as 3 batteries and chargers for everything, lens filters, my laptop, multiple external drives, a water bottle, and a tripod. straps are nicely padded so that they dont wear out your shoulders since you can fit your entire digital life in there.

All the thoughtful pockets, inserts, and features make it such and easy on the go office for me to visit multiple assets, setup shop, get admin and physical inspections done.

[Zipper] Id been waffling on this bag for a few weeks, but pulled the trigger when Id acquired a Mamiya 7II to complete my kit. This bag is currently holding a Nikon F3 + Distagon 28mm, Leica M5 + Nokton 35, a Mamiya 7II + 80mm, and in the compartments, I have a Voigtlander 40mm for the Nikon, a Voigtlander 15mm for the Leica, an Elmarit 28mm for the Leica, and a 50mm for the Mamiya. Ive thrown in a bunch of rolls, a lens cleaning kit, some pens, and its still got the room for a 15-in MacBook if Im so inclined.

When I close that bag with all this gear and there is no bulge at all, despite the Mamiya being a little taller than the rest of the camera bodies. The straps are so well designed, it sits well on my shoulders and back, and even better when Ive gotten the sternum strap engaged. Feels like Im not carrying anything!

I also bought this bag for the zone system that Hex is advertising, and I think its pretty smart and going to work out for my use -- I could see a scenario where Ill be carrying one body on me, but Ill want to use another and just sliding the bag to my front and opening that panel is incredibly helpful. The added bonus is that you can adjust the zippers to your preference (left side, right side, or top)

The only drawback (its really minor, but bears noting) for me is the internal zippers for the different compartments. While its great that Hex took extra care in creating little pockets for the zipper head, Im still worried about the closed zipper slowly scratching the camera bodies, especially the Mamiya. The solution that seems to work for now is to put gaffer tape over the zipper.

All in all a really really great bag. Its unassuming, yet stylish, and keeps a slim enough profile to not call attention to the fact that you could be carrying so much important gear. The padding is more than adequate, and it all fits so snugly.
