[84 x 4 x 4"] Hand painted backdrops are not inexpensive, however this Savage Painted Canvas backdrop is beautiful and arrived with no damage and no wrinkles. 5

[Crossbar] I ordered two of these backdrops for a photo assignment and could not be happier with the quality and performance of the product. I did read a few reviews that commented that the backdrop did not have 'texture' and I will admit that when I first unrolled the backdrop and viewed it, I did not see much texture at all - it appeared to be largely grey with no other highlights. But once I lit it up with my studio lights, all of the texture came out and made for a great backdrop to photograph portraits! I am extremely pleased with the product and would highly recommend it. 5

[Canvas] I've been wanting to do work with painted canvas for a long time, and finally pulled the trigger on a Savage, because I've heard great things. This eclipse color is quite dark, so if you want more texture to show in photos, either light the canvas or go with the other grat (I think it's called Ash?). Wonderful though, and I am very happy with it. I plan to by Desert Sand next I think. 5

[84 x 4 x 4"] Very good quality, heavy weight and easy to remove wrinkles on with a drapery steamer. What we received did not match the color displayed here, nonetheless, it is a great color. It is more green than earthtone as shown here, however if you go on the savage website it shows the correct green hue. Bottom line is the color is great for professional headshots and small group settings and we love it. Only complaint we had was the item was approximately 10x10... meaning we had to shear and hem 3 sides of it to get it to fit our 10x10 square stage. Apparently whoever cut and sewed the edges on this must have been high on something as the original edges were very wavy and it did not hang right. Overall, we recommend this product, for the $$ you can not beat it! 5

[84 x 4 x 4"] This is a beautiful high-quality backdrop. Yes, out of the tube it looks very dark but it requires background lighting. Good starting point for me was matching subject light and background light equally using a flashmeter (you got one of those, right?) I also shoot with a longer lens to blur it out a bit. Once lit properly you’ll see a palette of beautiful subtle shade variations 5
