[12 AWG] You can use it as a jump rope or as a clothesline; you can also use it as an extension wire. I got this specific one because it has the higher wattage. (It has the wattage printed on the tag on the wire, so you know clearly what you have when you're using it.) Get the triple-plug in the accessories also, and you may want another one or two small extension wires; they come in handy. Enjoy! 5

[15 A] Happy with this extension cord. Seems very well built, made with quality materials, and should last forever. Nice thick cabling, but not so thick that it is hard to manage, which is what I wanted. I like that the cord has 2 female outlets on one side of the plug and a third plug on the reverse side. This makes it easy to fit plugin dc power adapters that are large or anything else that has a large male plug. I like that it is black colored, instead of the orange cords you would get from a box hardware store. Those are an eyesore in my opinion. Having black cords look more professional on set and fade into the background and do not stand out. Connection points seem well-made, and I do not see any weak points that will break from use. The cord has a 13amp rating which is more than enough for my productions and applications. I only use LED lights that do not pull much amperage anyway. Again, I'm happy with this extension cord. [15 A] This extension cord works like it should and is well-made. The build quality is great, especially at this price point. Cord is nice and thick, but still flexible enough to make it easy to use and wrap up afterwards. The plugs seem well-made and built to last. Usually, the connection point where the cord meets the plug is the weak point for some cables because that is where they take the most stress. But the connection points on this cord seem very well built and ready to handle heavy duty use. I'm happy this cord is black in color. I'm not a fan of the common orange colored extension cords. The orange ones look bad on set and appear amateurish. This black cord has a much more professional look and is less distracting when used on set. I like that the 3 female plugs have plenty of space between them to fit larger male ends. I chose the 50' size, which I think is a great length. It is long enough to make it across most studios, but still not too large to make it difficult to deal with and wrap up. This is a great cable, works just as advertised, and does the job well.
