[Black] I was surprised to see how hefty this cable was. Not something that I would necessarily expect for the price. Very quality cable.

[125 V] We moved our company to another office. Based on where the desks were situated (middle of the room) and the fact that the power outlets were in various locations on the walls, we needed black power extension cables to keep things looking nice and tidy. These did the trick.

[Thermoplastic] I'm using this extension cord to power my flash strobes and my Video LED lights in my studio and on location. Plus I'm tired of those ugly orange cords which is a sore thumb. having it all black is soooo much prettier. It blends with my AC cords and almost disappears on Set.

Every extension cord follows electrical codes which most people often forget to check their rating and plug in just about anything. This cord, with a maximum Load of 13A, 125V, 1625W, which is exactly the MAXIMUM load you can have anyways on a standard 15 Amp outlet, PER CIRCUIT with nothing else plugged in that circuit. If you exceed the load on this extension cord, you are also exceeding the permitted load on your outlet / circuit, therefore, this extension cord does the job right. 20 Amp circuits are usually commercial facilities, which allows you to load more, but again, don't forget the ratings on the extension cord, found on its labels.

Plugging in TWO 600 watt LED lights, is approaching your load limit by 70% on a home circuit.

The Watson 3-Outlet Power Extension Cord is easy to wrap away as the cord is a softer PVC. When dealing with halogen lights, make sure this cord is nowhere near that heat beam or ON the light's body, like most extension cords shouldn't. Don't allow people to step on electrical cords or place heavy items on top, so they don't get damaged or cut when crushed.

I also like that I can plug in a large DC power adapter without getting in the way. (see pictures)

[16 AWG] This extension cord works like it should and is well-made. The build quality is great, especially at this price point. Cord is nice and thick, but still flexible enough to make it easy to use and wrap up afterwards. The plugs seem well-made and built to last. Usually, the connection point where the cord meets the plug is the weak point for some cables because that is where they take the most stress. But the connection points on this cord seem very well built and ready to handle heavy duty use. I'm happy this cord is black in color. I'm not a fan of the common orange colored extension cords. The orange ones look bad on set and appear amateurish. This black cord has a much more professional look and is less distracting when used on set. I like that the 3 female plugs have plenty of space between them to fit larger male ends. I chose the 50' size, which I think is a great length. It is long enough to make it across most studios, but still not too large to make it difficult to deal with and wrap up. This is a great cable, works just as
advertised, and does the job well.

[3 Tap] There are more and more appliances that have plugs that do not fit into sunken power outlets. This was the perfect solution.

[16 AWG] These cables enable full use of TrippLite
ProtectIt under-monitor surge-suppress unit.
The 4 or 5 devices being switched (typically
external disk drives) hav power plugs
located on their power supply, and the width of
these power supplies blocks adjacent outlets.
The extension cables solve this problem. The
18 awg of the extension cables makes them
flexible and easy to arrange, and is ok in this
application bcoz the current requirements of the
attached devices is low.

[NEMA 5-15P Male] They were exactly what I needed. They were shipped quickly and arrived faster than expected. I'd definitely order these again, if needed, and I'll remember C2G for any future cabling needs.
