A: According to Chimera, the rear opening of the Chimera TECH Lightbank Softbox for Rotolight NEO LED is six (6 ) inches in diameter.

A: The Super Pro X bank, model 1130 would now feature a clean close back that wraps around the lighting fixture without excess material. This allows for smoother rotation of the softbox.

Q: 4. Does the frame fit any other 2x1 panels like the Nova 600 or Sky Panel?

A: This is a dedicated soft box. It will not mount to other lights unless you somehow modified the frame. In addition to the frame mount not fitting other lights he size will not be exactly the same for other lights.

A: As of the date/time of this reply I do not currently see a grid by Chimera or Aputure listed as compatible for use with this Chimera Medium Lightbank with Frame for Aputure P600c.

Q: 9. I travel a lot and would like to start taking my softbox with me. I have the 36x48 version, but the poles that go inside the softbox dont fit in the largest suitcase that you can check in. Is there any way to find out how long the poles are for the smaller options? I want a softbox that I can travel with and the only problem is the metal poles that go in the softbox to stretch it out.

A: I purchased the 12X16 Chimera for my lumedyne because I also shoot on location and didn't want to take my Chimera Octa because it was just too much to lug around.The rods are around 12'' I love this soft box and it is made in America.

A: The Chimera 60° Fabric Grid (Medium) is only for Chimera Medium softboxes that measure 36 x 48" such as those in the Video Pro or Super Pro series.

[Fabric] I’ve owned the S60 version of this bag for 6 years, and I expect this new product to be as tough and long-lasting as the other. I noticed the inclusion of an inner baffle, which makes sense since the Vortex has more punch than the S60, so the spread on the front diffusion is spread evenly. I get it, but I prefer the greater output of the Vortex without the baffle. It’s still quite soft. 5

[Fabric] Well packaged, easy to put together and they work great! I got 2 Lightbanks for 2 Flolight Microbeam 512 lights and they soften the light perfectly. 5

[Fabric] The product is well designed and modifies soft light around the subject where I need it. I use the modifier on my Dracast 1000 while doing boudoir shoots or being a light assistance to other continuous lighting setup. Since I found this modifier, I have come to love my 1000 and use more and more these days. 5

[Yes] I'm a gaffer and use mine on Litepanels Astras.� I much prefer this to the bag model that litepanels pushes.� It leaves plenty room for the vents and it sets up quicker and folds down smaller.� Someone posted in a review that it covered up the vents., I will post a picture to show otherwise. 5
