A: It depend on the sensor but we will assume you have this on a FE camera which would be most likely to cause vignetting. However, with a 28mm wide end, we do not see vignetting to be an issue with a filter or this hood.

A: Yes, it would work however for Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM we tipically recomend a petal shape lenshood to avoid vignetting if you are shooting 24mm wide on a full frame camera as well as maintaining control of light glares at 70mm foca lenght. Sony dedicated Lens Hood ALC-SH168 has the same internal dimensions and hight at the wide angle axis as Heliopan 95mm Short Metal Lens Hood.

[0.355 lb] I can only speak to the Kase Magnetic system because I haven't had an opportunity to use the ND64 yet. I love the system- compact, easy to use and no color cast. It works just as I hoped- no more screwing on and off. I have already recommended the filters to a friend. 5

[0.355 lb] Bought this to compliment my Kase filter set. With an additional step up ring I can use it on all my lenses. Love the simplicity and ease of use of the magnetic ring. Great glass with no color cast has me making better photos. Highly recommended. 5

[0.355 lb] I changed over to this system and I love it. Filters appear to be high quality with great image resolution and so easy to use. Magnet appears to be strong enough to keep everything in place. I also bought the 77mm set for my other Nikon lenses. I will not go back to screw in filters. 5

[0.355 lb] I'm using this case to hold five 82mm filters, including a CPL. The case is very nice looking and its smooth surface makes it easy to get in and out of a pocket. The price is also very reasonable. 5

[155 mm] I've been a user of other magnetic filters but was having a hard time finding one that would fit a 95mm filter that my Sony 28-135mm requires. Then I happened to find this one and decided to give it a try. When it arrived I was impressed with the build quality and like that the magnet is not overly strong, the other system I use is difficult to remove due to the strength of the magnet but this one is easy to remove but not to the extent where I'm worried it would fall off. The price is really reasonable for a filter of this size. I haven't noticed much if any color shift when using it. Overall very satisfied with this filter system and will be purchasing more of them in the future. 5
