[Yes (Included)] Love the wrap around lighting this modifier creates, the build quality is great, overall just a great modifier to have. If you are looking to use this with an Alienbees/Einstein strobe, you can buy the Westcott Zeppelin Balcar bracket and it works with this modifier.

[19.1 x 9 x 8.6"] This softbox delivers, soft, directional light well for one to three subjects. You can use it for larger groups, but you really have to move the light further away to get smooth lighting for all your subjects. I like to double defuse this softbox and so far, I only have one minor complaint: the side zipper that I use to grip the frame to attach to my lights is a bit frail. The zipper is beginning to fray from my constant use. If you're constantly breaking down your equipment, be mindful of that one weak point.

[Yes] I needed a grid for my Newer 35 softbox I use on my Newer SL-60W and this worked perfectly. Fits the inside diameter velcro perfectly and works as it should.

[4.375 lb] I bought this softbox to use on location, so if it gets damaged it isnt a lot of money to replace. The quality of the light is awesome even when using a single speedlight

[4.375 lb] I got 4 of these w/o any reviews having been yet written, so a slight risk. I had looked at all the other options in this price range, and they all basically found one key flaw: hard to assemble---and this coupled with the necessarily less robust construction in a less expensive product meant premature tears, separations, & etc. What this meant for most was that others were fine for single set up in a studio, not great for location work. But location work was something I really needed these for.


I noted that these were quick setup boxes with the rods already inserted. What was not as clear was that the rods were also permanently connected to a clamshell ring that you open up and lock, and in so doing unfurl the softbox. Unbelievably easy! Literally takes seconds. There is then an included Bowens adapter ring that mounts on your light, which you then slide/twist into the back of the clamshell. There are 2 wide head screws already mounted in the clamshell that grab the Bowens adapter flange, and a third, separate larger knurled screw that goes into the third hole and tightens down. Again, a matter of seconds. I'll be able to have 4 lights, 4 softboxes, all mounted on my stands I'll bet in under 3 minutes, no exaggeration.



The only caveats (not going to call them cons) are that the clamshells have a little weight to them---not a ton, and they need it to be robust---and i think the rods end in a loop, secured by a small screw, in the clamshell (but I did not take apart to make sure). This means that you can't use the softboxes themselves in another ring. I don't care, really, and if I find I do I'll bet I can get a set of separate rods.


Sirui doesn't make junk in my experience, and I was actually pretty surprised at the low full price of these. I would highly recommend them in this price range.
