The 23W SmartDV Battery Back for 2 Canon BP-911/914/924 or Samsung Mini DV Batteries from Transvideo is a 23W converter designed for use with the 6.5” Rainbow II and 6” CineMonitor III Monitors. It steps up from 7.2V to 12VDC Canon BP-911/914/924 and Samsung mini DV Li batteries.

A: All 14.4 battery plates have standardized mounting holes. To answer your question, yes, it will work.

A: How long the APC Battery Back-UPS Pro BX850M lasts will depend on the total load of all the connected devices. This UPS has a maximum load of 510W, and at that load, it will have a runtime of about 2 minutes. At a half-load of 255W, however, the runtime will be about 8.9 minutes.

Q: 4. Does it support HD-SDI ? HDMI ?

A: This unit was the first reliable wireless video transmitter/receiver set made. As such, unfortunately it is only SDI, no HD and no HDMI. Today however, there are many such devices. Paralink or Teradek would be two brands to consider. Paralinx Triton 1:1 Wireless Video System B&H # PATR11 (HDMI only) or Teradek Bolt Pro 300 Wireless HD-SDI/HDMI Dual Format Video Transmitter/Receiver Set (Both HMI and HD-SDI) B&H # TE100930.

A: According to Transvideo, the resolution is 1280 x 720.

A: It is relatively flat, it faces down rather than out of the socket.

Q: 8. Will this fit an fx9 with a full tilta cage?

A: The Jason Cases Sony FX9 + Battery Back + Bottomplate Case with the foam insert can only accommodate the following items attached: The Sony PXW-FX9 XDCAM 6K Full-Frame Camera System (B&H # SOPXWFX9) with battery back, bottomplate, top handle, EVF/LCD monitor, Sony side handle with cable, and compatible with PL mount adapters attached. A full cage rig setup would not fit in the cutouts of the case insert.

A: It varies on the amount of power your tower is drawing. The higher the draw the shorter the runtime.

Q: 10. How do i update the transvideo Arri Starlight?

A: We do not sell the StarliteHD5-ARRI so all I can say is that most likely you download the update to an SD card, put that card in the StarliteHD5-ARRI and update from there.

[7.2 V to 12 VDC] This is one of 6 units I've purchased from B&H when they run them on sale at a reduced price. Very good unit for my work stations and they seem to last without any issues whatsoever. Recently picked up another for future needs but already have 5 units in use and pleased with the value and reliability. Plenty of backup capabilities for most work stations including those with file servers and large multi-screen layouts. 5

[7.2 V to 12 VDC] I have traditionally purchased APC UPSs, however they have gotten expensive since they are acquired. So I thought to try this well rated company and all I can say is the quality is just as good, the functionality is superior and the documentation is outstanding compared to APC. In the included user guide are the instructions for replacing the battery! 5

[7.2 V to 12 VDC] B-H sent right away and I received in two days. The package was open on the top, so the delivery person placed it up side down on my porch. That said, it was in perfect condition so I am ok with it. The BL2450U is super! Many items can be plugged into it. After fully charging it, I unplugged it and it kept the monitor aglow, computer on. No concerns. 5

[7.2 V to 12 VDC] Can in a couple days ago. Love this monitor and how quickly B&H was able to get me this special order. It did come with a crack in the plastic holder the case but I spoke to B&H and they were able to figure out a replacement. 5

[7.2 V to 12 VDC] I have used APC UPS products for decades. My experience has mostly been good, but I found some of their lower end products to underperform the brand reputation. So, I looked higher up in the family for my low end needs and found the BX series. I’ve used the BX1000 in several places now and I like it for spots where I just want a small and reliable UPS for network equipment or TV equipment. I like the surge suppression feature for a network cable also. I’ve used these to power building-to-building network equipment and I feed the network through the UPS. I was pleased to see that PoE passes through it just fine. 5
