A: No. depth of field is directly tied to actual focal length and is not connected to the crop factor. However, because you will use shorter focal lengths in super 35 to cover the same field of view that in full frame would would require a longer lens, e.g., a 35mm in super35 covers the same field as a 50mm in full frame, you do get that level of advantage. a 35mm lens focused to 10 feet, shooting at f5.5 will have a close focus point of 7.14 ft and a far point of 16.68ft. A 50mm, same f stop, same distance will produce 8.36ft near point and 12.43ft far point.
