[Plastic] Love the Aputure & Amaran lights. Great quality and reliable. This one is bright enough to provide a good fill or to be used to enhance a scene with some color.

[LCD] I bought this grid to narrow the Amaran light. It's easy to use and fits perfectly for the light. I'm very satisfied with this product.

I can't understand why this is needs plus you have to give it access to other devices in order to set this up! I just went to a random park and set these up! After they worked fine just with bluetooth only! However The next following it seems THEY WERE NOT RESPONDING

[16 W ] A lot easier to use than a titan with sidus link. Sidus link is so easy and so good to just keep it all in the aputure universe. Build quality is excellent. This is a solid follow up to their earlier tube model. USB C charger is super useful too.

[Passive] I have several RGB lights and I also own a pair of the Aputure MT Pro 1 foot RGB lights. 95% of the lights I own and use are used for interviews or constant lighting photography.

In my opinion the Genaray PX1-RGB Pixel RGB LED Tube Light (1') can easily go toe to toe with the Apurture MT Pros in every category. My first observation on these lights was that the Brightness and CRI are phenomenal. For interviews and small creatives works I think that just one of the these 1 foot lights can easily suffice as a fill light, hair light or as and RGB accent light.
I love how small and light weight this light is and it also looks great.
Pros

- Bluetooth app to control lights
- Small and lightweight
- Fantastic color renditions
- Very bright
- The menu system is quick and easy. The buttons are a much better option than Aputure's scroll wheel.


Cons
- the carrying case it comes with is sub par. Plan on having it cushioned or in a dedicated case.


Overall I think this light is a great addition to light kit and is small enough that it won't feel like it's taking up too much room at all. I'm planning on getting another one as I tend to have these lights in pairs.

[8.73 lb] The price is unbeatable and the build quality is great. These tube lights give off a solid diffused light so you won’t see any individual LEDs. It has a very durable build. Best of all if you plan on using them as practical lights to be seen in the frame of a shot, they have a uniform look from end to end unlike most tube lights on the market. The app could use some work with its UI but it works well enough.

[Plastic] Bought two of these for use in indoor macro/close up photography and to create colored abstracts. They are an excellent size for this work and the range of features are exactly as described. Using the iPad app to control these makes adjustments a breeze without having to move them from where they had been carefully placed.

[2700 to 10,000K] At first I was not sure how these lights would compare to Asteras, but this pack of tube lights pack a punch. When I got them they had no charge, but it was well worth the wait. 

These tubes connect easily with the Sidus link app and the controls seem intuitive and easy to navigate. The hardware and stands are sturdy and the packaging is sleek, but it is in a soft-ish case. 

It is tough to beat this quality for this price!
