Amaran COB 200x S Bi-Color LED Monolightexpands its LED monolight line with the S-series COB 200x S Bi-Color LED Monolight, adopting the all-in-one form of the previous COB 200x. With an upgraded LED chipset design, this 200W fixture has enough power to illuminate a room with high-quality light. It provides a variable 2700-6500K color temperature with an ultra-high SSI score across the board for extremely accurate and improved color reproduction. This point-source light has a generous output of 45,400 lux at 3.3' when paired with the included hyper reflector. A variety of nine lighting effects are easily accessible to help you simulate different creative looks. This is the ideal choice for videographers, content creators, and photographers looking for a lightweight and quiet light without sacrificing image quality. Its silent cooling system will not interfere with any scenario, whether creating content at your home studio or on location.

You can find the right level of illumination for your scene with 0 to 100% dimming and easily make adjustments locally on the unit with an intuitive LCD screen. [Bowens S] These lights have excellent color accuracy and render the scene very nicely. I recently used them to shoot artist interviews and art, both photo and video. The lights are excellent. Very stable, with a huge heat-sink in the body of the monolight, so light modifiers do not overheat. Sure, they are not as powerful as a 300c, but the color accuracy is better. I also used them to cross-polarize the art during the interview shots, and that worked out very well. It is a joy to use them with the Sidus Link app, which is fully bluetooth, and it is easy to move lights from one set to another and reassign them in the Sidus Link app. I ended up buying FOUR! 5

[Yes] This light is very bright considering the size and 60w power consumption. I also have Amarán 200 XS bicolor and it’s brighter than this 60 watt version but this one is a lot faster to setup especially if you have Sony type NPF batteries. I have a third party NPF batteries for this light and works fine. One thing I wished for is that hand bracket design isn’t that great. It doesn’t sit flush with the battery adapter. But partly it could be because Amarán just didn’t want you to make this light sit straight. More risk of damage that way. At least I decided to tell myself that. I do professional videography and this won’t be the only sole light to use for one gig. But this 60 watt range is nice. Small and handy. 5

[Fan] I do restaurant photography and videography professionally and I was wanting an easy light to setup on site, not too large / heavy, plus it emits lots of light to light spaces / people / food even with modifiers like umbrellas or soft boxes. This light is it! OK sometimes I do videography in nights where a little bright light does huge difference with somewhat high ISO and f/2.8 aperture, but still this light is great. Sidus link app is also great, you can remotely turn it on/off with your smartphone. It just works! You can change color temperatures. After having this light I purchased a light that doesn't go below 3200K and I realized that it is somewhat a luxury to have 2700K halogen-like warm light, and I absolutely need it. Only thing is that I wish battery setup was easier, but you have to buy a few additional things to make it work, such as an expensive V Mount batteries, battery plate, etc. I wish that was easier. But having said that, it works great, it's easy to carry around. Great price for great light. Color temperature is quite accurate as far as I can tell so it makes my videos look great! 5
