  • Lightweight (at 3.9 oz including batteries), the XSW IEM EK easily clips on your clothing or belt, and is easy to conceal and comfortable for the talent to wear.
  • A standard 3.5mm jack lets you plug in the included IE 4 earphones or optional earphones of your choice. The top LED shows battery and link status at a glance, while the front LCD panel allows you to individually fine-tune your personal mix using Balance and Focus modes and the EQ and Limiter.
  • The receiver operates up to 6 hours on 2 AA batteries (included).

  • With the XSW IEM EK bodypack receiver, a musician can design his or her individual mix with Mono, Stereo, and Focus Mode settings. Simple controls enable her or him to dial in the volume and panning for both left and right signals and get the balance that works best—for example the singer can turn up the vocal feed to hear herself better, while the band may prefer more of the instrumental mix to help ensure they stay in the pocket.
  • Alternatively, performers can engage the Focus mode, which mixes both left and right signals and allows you to balance of what you want to hear in the foreground and push the other instruments to the background.
  • Advanced features include an EQ that provides a 10 dB boost at 13 kHz with high shelf for more air and extra brightness. Protect your ears with the Limiter that caps the output volume at the receiver by -10 dB.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do the receivers remember Focus and Pan settings between power-on and power-off, or do those need to reset every time the receiver is turned off? Hoping to use this feature to get two completely separate mono mixes to two receivers from a single transmitter.

A: Yes the settings will be the same as last used when you power the receivers back on.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with iphone 6?

A: Yes! It is!

Q: 3. What's the difference between XSW IEM series and EW IEM G4 system?

A: The Sennheiser XSW IEM SET Stereo In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System and the Sennheiser ew IEM G4 Wireless Monitor System offer similar functionality and solutions with a few key differences. The XSW IEM offers 960 usable frequencies where the IEM G4 offers 1,680. The XSW offers up to 12 compatible channels in use at once on the same range where the G4 offers 16. Both systems offer a similar 300ft maximum operational range. The XSW receivers offer some unique functionality with the ability to let the user design their individual mix with Mono, Stereo, and Focus Mode settings. Simple controls enable them to dial in the volume and panning for both left/right signals and get the balance that works best.

Q: 4. Can you use multiple receivers with just the one transmitter?

A: Yes, the transmitter in the Sennheiser XSW IEM SET Stereo In-Ear Wireless Monitoring System can send the same signal to multiple Sennheiser XSW IEM EK Stereo Bodypack Wireless Receivers that are tuned to the same frequency/channel.

Q: 5. is this compatible with the p112 transmitters of the same frequency bandwidth?

A: No

Q: 6. What's compatible antenna combiner?

A: A great option for an antenna combiner for use with multiple Sennheiser XSW IEM SET Stereo In-Ear Wireless Monitoring Systems is the RF Venue COMBINE4 4-Channel Antenna Combiner with CP Beam Antenna and Cable Bundle (BH #RFCOMB4CPB): https://bhpho.to/3sKzfnr

Q: 7. i have a 6s phone. do these ear plugs require the use of a cable?

A: No

Q: 8. Why would this NOT work with a EW100 G3 transmitter in the same frequency range?

A: The Sennheiser EW100 series wireless components use a different/separate wireless communication protocol that prevents them from properly communicating with products from the IEM series such as the Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Stereo Bodypack Receiver with IE 4 Earphones (A: 516 to 558 MHz), even when tuned to the same frequency.

Q: 9. Can these IEM receivers double as a camera hop? I the quality the same as the regular receivers?

A: Hi Dennis - the EK 300IEM can receive signal from any evolution Wireless transmitter, however, the audio signal would be processed through the headphone amplifier circuit which would have a different noise floor than the AF Output of a standard EK 100 or 500 Receiver.

Q: 10. Can this receive a mono signal from a g2 transmitter?

A: Yes it will work with a G2 transmitter in the same frequency band.

[24 MHz] No frills ear buds offering full sound, a very soft ear bud for comfort, and durable back case. The wire casing is neither slippery nor sticky, it has the right amount of grip texture.

[10 µV, Fixed] I bought this to use with my G4 wireless mics for a director or script super to monitor. I read the instructions about how to setup and it seems fine. Need some more time with it to really see how it does overall.

[45 Hz to 15 kHz] Used each day primarily for listening to audio books and some music. These are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever had. I fall asleep with them on and no ear discomfort. The sound quality is excellent for the spoken word and certainly good for music.

[4.6' / 1.4 m] I had the Westone UM3X in-ears and I have to say that my new IE4's blow out of the water. I use them on tour with my band and have to say that nothing comes close to these in-ears.

[Plastic] I use these on set with a compatible G4 transmitter (you need to turn off pilot tone) for client headphone monitoring. Sounds much better than the popular 216mhz VHF systems.

[10 µV, Fixed] The SENNHEISER IE 4 earphones give great Bass. The sound is clear and crisp.I bought these buds for my COWON D2.I also tried CX 300 but specially Bass is better than CX 300.Also Mids and Treble. For this price you can buy another brand isolation earbuds they may be more successful on isolating but i can say that sound that Sennheiser IE 4 give is better than the phones in this price range. It has microdrive not diaphragm so this is an advantage. One con is sound isolating but it is more important that an earphone gives rich sound. Problems Encountered: No problems...
