The Rotolight NEO 3 Pro RGB LED Light Panel - Image Maker Kitfrom Rotolight NEO 3 Pro RGB LED Light Panel - Image Maker Kitbrings 25% more power than than the NEO 3 and can be used for continuous output or as a flash in either CCT or RGB. The light expands the wireless flash trigger capability to include Godox, Profoto, Elinchrom, Neewer, and Pixapro in addition to a universal flash slave mode. It has two metallic red anodized handles, two solid red anodized aluminum dials, and an integrated touchscreen display panel so you can select from CCT, RGB, effects, and digital color filter mode. The CCT mode has a number of ambient light presets for quick access. Additional continuous special effects presets, including fireworks, candle, disco, and throb, mimic environmental lighting for filmmakers.

An app is available that allows you to control the light wirelessly from your smartphone over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Rounding out the usefulness of the NEO 3 Pro is the built-in battery plate and the option to run the light with a separately available power supply.

[Proprietary] I've been looking at these lights since they first came out and was reluctant to buy them because of the variance in customer ratings they receive, and due to the cost of D-Tap batteries. With that said here are my thoughts after buying and working with the Rotolight Neo II explorer kit. 1. This kit is the perfect size and weight for small portrait or product photography shoots that don't require complicated lighting setups and high-intensity lights. The kit's three lights and light stands easily fit back into the storage bag (without any effort or an advanced degree in origami). 2. The lights are extremely bright, and throw their beam quite far, but they are not designed to replace speed-lights or mono-lights. 3. When used with the recommended PowerEx AA batteries they will easily over-power ambient light in a well lit room. I feel that this kit is a great addition to my existing lighting equipment inventory which includes speed-lights and 500 watt mono-lights. The Rotolight Neo II Explorer kit increases my flexibility and mobility in some shooting situations. It eliminates the need to transport heavier light stands and sandbags in many situations. In fact, I wouldn't hesitate buying more of these lights if the need arose. Side note: I haven't used the flash feature on these lights yet, nor have I used them with D-Tap batteries. So far I'm quite happy using them for continuous light and powering the Neo II's with PowerEx AA batteries I bought from B&H. 5

[Fan] Just what i was looking for. A portable, super light weight kit, it easily fits in my car, its easy to carry and great that it has everything inside (lights, stands etc). If you're looking for a light weight kit for portraits or interview work, this is a great option. 5

[Yes] Really enjoying this light. Very light, and portable and love that I can change the color temp and see that on the back. In continuous mode this is very bright, and to have the option of more power in flash and with no recycle time is great. Very soft and flattering light output, I think it is great value for the flexibility it offers. 5

[140°] For my needs this light is incredible. I love the fact that it uses AA batteries and some may see this as a negative but I’d rather pay for batteries than have other lights with built in batteries die on me and can use them anymore. A huge plus is that this light is round and I prefer the fallout this gives instead of the rectangular lights especially when shooting faces. Peoples faces are round not rectangular so this light is perfect for portraits wether you use the constant led light function or fire a flash with it. 5
