A: The dividers work well for vertical separation but would be more challenging to configure for items laid flat. I've used it with an I-Pad and placed a layer of foam on top of the pad - but didn't place lenses or cameras on top because of the space limitation. It would work better in my Pelican 1510 w/divider set. That would give more space to separate hard items from the computer.

A: As per Pelican, the inserts have 3 dividers that measure 3.66 x 3.81 x 0.67", 6 dividers that measure 5.23 x 3.81 x 0.67" and 2 dividers that measure 13.14 x 3.81 x 0.67".

A: I have both. They are not interchangeable. They are different sizes and there is an internal bump for the wheels that is accommodated by the 1535 insert.
