A: About 10". It is designed for a sloped/cathedral type of ceiling.

Q: 9. Can a Zoom H1 fit in the shock mount?

A: The normal maximum diameter(clearance for mics) on the shockmount is 1.625 across(1 and 5/8 ). The Specs for the Zoom H1 are 1.7 x 5.4 x 1.2 , so it is very close. **But, if you squeeze the handles on the shock-mount, you can open the maximum diameter for microphones(or your Zoom H1) just enough to slide the Zoom H1 in for a snug fit. In other words: Yes. It will fit based on the ZH1 dimension specs, but will be clamped in against rubberized metal. Doing this will work, but render useless the inner shock-mounting bands(closest to Mic chamber), but you will still have shock-mounting bands between the chamber and boom pole mount... So less shock/sound transfer up the boom pole than if you used no mount, but not as optimal as having a mic(or Zoom H1) actually suspended in the inner shock bands also... The good thing though is your ZH1 isn't likely going to fall out!;)

[Fixed] It took a little longer to install than I thought it would but they included all kinds of screws to install into different projectors - found that out after I went to the hardware store to buy screws. Overall a very nice mounting kit. 5

[Fixed] This is a good all around mount for a projector. It's made of quality materials, and is easily adjusted if you have the included tools. The 1.5 pipe fitting that comes with this works great and is interchangeable with any 1.5 mounting application. I combined this with a truss clamp to mount it above one of our stages. 5

[31.5" / 80 cm] A fantastic product that does exactly what you need it to. Having used the original GoPro seat post/handlebar mount which was poor this is a whole new level. You can see GoPro really upping their game in all their products which really manifests itself in the build quality and materials of the mounts. The two rubber inserts are fantastic and locate in the mount so they do not slide around when in use. Well Done GoPro such a simple mount and perfectly produced. 5

[Powder Black] I bought this mount for montage at my motorbike. My first idea was, to fix it at the standpipe of the frontwheel. But the place wasn´t possible. So I fixed it at the crash pad of the motorbike frame. The used Gopro Session was added with some adapter, so it should hang down to the street for getting good films when the bike drives curves. The camera suffers from its place, because it could happened that stone chipping damages the camera. So I used successfully an amored glass foil for protection of the GP session. I can't wait to see what great shots were taken on the last long motorcycle tour. 5
