A: I would recommend using Manual mode, though you may wish to experiment with the other settings. Mipos website only states to set the camera to manual focus, and for shots of lightning, set the focus to infinity, and when using Sound or HDR modes, set the shutter speed to BULB. However, you would have the most control over your images using Manual mode, and then can change the aperture or shutter speed to make any changes needed to correct your initial exposure.

A: Yes, it will, providing that your boom (shotgun) mic is self-powered. The G4 will not supply a full 48v phantom power.

Q: 8. I am looking for a 20 amp dimmer pack and this looks like the right pack (2400 watts). However, looking at the manual, it is supplied with 1 NEMA 5-15P Connector -- which appears to be a 15 amp connector. We have 20 amp service, so we will be exceeding 15 amps--is this safe?

A: I would say that it is perfectly safe to use this pack on a 20a circuit. Each channel has it's own breaker in it and I think there is a main breaker as well in the pack. You aren't ever going to overload the 20a circuit and of course you can't draw more than 15a through the pack itself. Should be no problemo. That said, you might want to actually get a 20a pack to take full advantage of your available power but I believe they climb in price pretty substantially.

[Thermoplastic] I use this cable to run lights for DJ and stage lighting and have been very happy so far. My only concernn would be there doesn't seem to be as much insulation as some other cables I own. I guess time will tell how weel it holds up. 5
