A: As long as you have updated to iPad iOS or iOS 13 you should be able to view the movie. With the update the c port will allow all ports of hyperdrive to be used at once for the same kind of connection you would make to a laptop (except it is not a lighting port so it cannot handle external drives made for that high speed connection -- however, usb c gen 2 are no problem). If you are continuing to have issues after update, try going to your file app and copying the movie to the iPad before playing.

Q: 4. What "apple" certification does this have? I have bought SO MANY dongles and connectors that are SUPPOSED to work with apple products.
