The California Sunbounce Sun-Swatter is mobile shade on a pole--ideal for shading a model (or models) in bright sunlight without cumbersome set-ups for each shot. The California Sunbounce Sun-Swatter Big Frame (6x8') is the lightweight, collapsible aluminum frame for all Big Sun-Swatter light modifiers (not included). With the Sun-Swatter, the model's movements can easily be followed by one person holding the lightweight scrim on a boom-type pole (not included) that extends to about 11' (3.35 m). The frame holds the screen taut, ensuring consistent light modification. A shoulder sling bag is included. Reflector not included. Pole not included.

A: yes it would work in the largest mounting point but you don't want to crank it to much ;-)

Q: 7. i ripped my old silver white fabric, is this a replacement that will fit my 4x6 frame?

A: Yes, this is a replacement. Always look for the PRO designation when looking for the 4x6 size. The one you have here is quite secular and reflects the greatest amount of light. Hard light remains hard and soft light remains soft. If you wish to soften your light you would want the ZIG-ZAG Silver/White.

[60 x 10 x 5"] I have been using California Sunbounce products for around 20 years. Unlike most products, the quality your used to, is still present. This is a welcomed surprise in an industry where we often accept a continuous decay in build quality. As for shooting, shaving nearly a stop off the top end while decreasing contrast does help. We can all dump 2400 Jules on a portrait client, however, families aren't models and I prefer a more understated look. Production doubles as I can shoot two groups because I have the good light sooner in the day. The kit has a great boom that sure exceeds the capabilities of my previous jury rigs. Expensive? Yes. Tradiotional quality comes at a price - It also comes with a service life 5

[60 x 10 x 5"] I was wanting to buy one of these for years and never could justify the cost but after getting one I wish I would have got one years ago. The ridged frame makes it so much brighter than the usual collapsible reflectors. And wind is not longer a factor and so much easier for someone to aim and keep the light where it needs to go. 5

[60 x 10 x 5"] This is professional gear that will stand up to the wear and tear of local travel. If you're packing for a plane trip I'd think about buying a more robust case - the one that comes with it is only OK for the back of your car. It's back with black which is nice. 6x6 is the minimum size in my opinion. It's good for indoor single portrait or interview with a normal to long lens. 5

[60 x 10 x 5"] Reflector surface is a shimmery silver, and a neutral white. You can pack and unpack the product quickly , not needing to remove the reflector sheet all of the time. Quality of light is strong and crisp from the silver side. I happen to like the crossbars, they help with the manipulation of the reflector in the right position. 5

[60 x 10 x 5"] I've met with the designer, Peter Geller, on various occasions and I know him very well. In fact, when I first purchased my California Sunbunce products in 2004, I reached out to Peter and after about a year, we finally met and became friends. He even came out to one of my shoots in the Virgin Islands and I've visited him in Germany. The first time he visited he showed me the proper way to use his products, as like most photographers, we tend to not read the instructions and do what our gut tells us. I have used many of his products since then and they have never failed me. Yes, this larger Sun Swatter can be a little more challenging in the windy areas, but with help, you can make it work just perfect. 5
