The frame has an overall viewing area of 52 x 92" (132 x 234 cm) and will be constructed of aluminum with slip-joints at the corners. A: Hi Judy, yes you can use one. I use a circular polarizer, a basic Tiffen 49mm polarizer, on my DA 15 and it works just fine. Although I'm using the lens without lately it as a test, want to make sure my polarizer is not negatively affecting sharpness. But this is absolutely my favorite lens, renders images beautifully, almost a 3D like effect.

A: HI Don, I've had this lens a couple years, on my K-7. I travel for work internationaly, and am an amatuer photog. I like landscapes and a wider field of view even in city streets. It's light, guite fast and compact and seems very durable, even in extreme polar regions. I'm very happy with my pics, but there is some distortion say in city skylines and some horizons, if you use the odd looking rectangular sunshade cover made for the lens seems to help with that alot. It is subject to sunflares from sides but I often just block with my hand. I'd say I'm quite happy with it, Its well made, and I take it everywhere, but again I'm not a pro. For photos of residential landscapes it should work well, but it's not inexpensive as you've probably seen, make sure you take it along to scenic places too if you buy it!
