A: Hope I'm not too late with this explanation.There's an arm with a small slot in it that pivots out just above light. You then place the gel frame arm into that slot & tighten the set screw down on it and the gel frame securely hangs in front of the light.

[Black] This thing is a great way to extend your Fresnel out just a little bit more, and get more punch out of your P360 or P360x light. It's like comparing it to a telescope almost. It also narrows the beam angle of your light to give you more of a spot light effect. Great for keeping the light off the walls when work in close quarters where you need to hide/diminish shadows as much as possible. 5
