[V-Mount] Honestly I just got it and I'm positively shocked at what a great idea this type of rigging is and how well it seeems to take weight. I've got Hytron batteries on it which are INCREDIBLY heavy and while I wouldn't recommend doing it too much just knowing it can take it in a pinch is great. Great build quality. A idea, A execution

[V-Mount] Even though it seems to be of a design that may fail, I have used it non-stop for two years of Production Sound for double system film sound recording and it has worked perfectly. I actually bought two of them in case one failed, but so far I have only used one. It is much better than the one made by Sound Devices, because it has a lower profile when fitted with an XL-B3 battery pack. A professional will pay attention to what they are doing when inserting and removing this, and will never have problems!

[V-Mount] The MovCam VCT Cage is well made and fits the F5/F55 precisely. Being the owner of several tripods with VCt 14 plates it makes for quick secure changes from one release plate to another. The protective module for the viewfinder connection is another smart feature..Flexibility in mounting accessories is another great characteristic of the product. It generally does everything it's supposed to well.

[V-Mount] I was pleasantly surprised to find that the EVF Cable Protector was so flush with the WC Top Plate and added virtually no height, which I found frustrating to the overall form factor of the camera with the competing Arri Top Plate that the camera shipped with. While I haven't been incredibly happy with the quality control from previous WC purchases, I've found the F5's WC accessories to be some of the best and most durable available for slimming down what can become an extremely cumbersome setup.

[V-Mount] This should be the standard battery sled for the Mixpre ii. I don't know what Sound Device is thinking when they design the AA battery sled. Huge design failure!. Keep falling and never securely locks.

I like this sled better (Sound Device has one too). And when using it with Sony NP-F7XX, it last up 8+ hours (4 times longer than AA battery), and I'm sure it will last up to 12 hour (6 times longer) when using Sony NP-F9XX.

The only cons is it's super thight. Don't use it if you plan to remove the sled very often. I suggest use USB-C port for file transfer when using this.

[1] This adapter could be sold by dozens if it was better marketed. It is a fantastic idea for anyone with on set monitors (focus pullers, camera ops, video village) . Worth EVERY penny. Hot swap is the bomb.

[1] This plate works very well. it's like it's not even there. This is my second try. The first was an off name brand and broke before the first job.

[V-Mount] The Cage Kit has everything I was looking for and more. I wanted a rig that had 15mm rod adapters for my matt box and follow focus. I also wanted to be able to mount a monitor and a light, the multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8 threaded holes will provide many configurations. The ablility to go hand held, and easily mount the camera using my quick release wedge plate, was the feature that sold me.The assembly was easy, and the camera still fit into the supplied hard shell case with minor adjustments.This is the perfect complement to my new camera, I will recommend this to everyone as a solid, smart purchase.

[V-Mount] Installing this cable protector has meant I no longer worry about the possibility of cable snapping the connector off whilst attached to the camera. Safe and sound now both in the case and on set.

[V-Mount] Using this with the Atomos Shinobi 7 and 3 different Gold mount batteries. Build quality is great and the batteries latch in nicely. Just plug in the cable before sliding the receiver plate onto the back of the monitor.

Core SWX Hypercore NEO Slim 98Wh, and an official Anton Bauer Digital Series 90 Gold Mount Battery 87Wh.
