[Screw] It's lightweight, decent quality plastic, and has good cutouts for size adjustment.
My favorite part is the lip which prevents the mattebox from sitting too far on the lens or making contact with the glass filters.
I was able to use my existing Sensei 77mm step up rings because they have an outside diameter of 80mm.
Will be buying more in the future for other lens sets.

[0.42 lb] Surprised by how light weight it is. Really good build quality and clever tray design. The thumb screws to extend the unit for additional filters gets loose sometimes so just have to tighten it every now and then.

Solid quality of the mount, doesn't require any tool or Allen key, sturdy when mounted.

[0.42 lb] I have an ARRI LMB 4x5 and have been using the rubber black hole vs clamp on adapters. ACs have hated it so I bought this for a recent shoot. Performed very well, clamped on tight to the lenses for handheld/easy rig use. I was slightly concerned after reading other reviews that the ARRI clamp adapters were the only ones to buy, but this seemed like a quality unit and held onto the lenses as expected during a 2 day branded commercial shoot.

[Screw] I have a Tiltaing mini matte box that clamps to approximately 87mm thread-on adapters. I also have a Smallrig matte box that clamps to 114mm. This ring let me use The Smallrig matte box with the Tilta adapters I already own instead of buying all new Smallrig-compatible ones. Saving me both money and the time it would take to swap adapters every time I need to switch matte boxes.

[Aluminum] Bought this to compliment my Leica R 35mm summicron in my Red Scarlet-W. This thing couldn’t be built or designed any better. The rubber “black hole” is a perfect choice if you’re going to be using vintage lenses. Make sure you have some sort of step up ring if your lens has a diameter smaller than 60mm or light will leak. I probably wouldn’t use it with lenses with a diameter larger than 82mm since it’s made of a thin rubber material and it might rip or stretch out too much. Looks miles better than baggy cloth though... The reason I went with the misfit is because I know that if I change lenses or if a client wants to work with other lenses, I can easily buy the other configurations to accommodate whatever I end up using. I know this is more expensive than most matte boxes but it’s worth it since this is the only matte box you will ever need.

[0.42 lb] The Misfit is the perfect balance between lightweight and great functionality.

[136 mm] Great adapter, used it for the Cooke s4 minis, it's a solid piece of equipment.
