[Black] This purchase replaced a failed switch from a different manufacturer in a small LAN. It was priced well, shipped and received quickly, and installed without issues. So far in a week of use it is performing flawlessly. As with any such device, longevity is a key attribute, and the previous unit failed in that expectation. I will not know how well this TP-Link switch meets my expectations for some years to come. 5

[AC Input] I was getting ready to add streaming video to an AV setup and needed a number of ports for remote control and such. Cost difference between this and the 16-port model was minimal. Fit into the open slot I had in my rack and we have plenty of capacity for not only the connections but the switch backplane capacity. 5
