[5' / 1.5 m] Although I have used many products with Neutrik powerCon connectors, this is the first time I have needed to fabricate cables with them. After downloading the assembly instructions, assembly was easy. If you follow the insulation stripping specifications, and use cable lubricant as recommended, the process is easy. A+

[5' / 1.5 m] When I purchased our Chauvet Pro AmHaze ECO I saw where it said that it was great about using little fluid to make a lot of haze. But, using a standard grade haze fluid I was lucky to get 3 hours of use out of a full tank of fluid. This was 5 hours less than Chauvet said it would use. But, when I found the Chauvet Pro Premium Haze Fluid I thought I give it a try & see how much of a difference it made even though it was more expensive. Well, I was absolutely shocked what an improvement it made to the performance of this hazer! Night & day difference. Even though it's more expensive you'll actually save a lot of money because it takes very little fluid to make an amazing & consistent amount of haze. Really made our show stand out better than before! Note, this fluid was designed for the AmHaze series of hazers, so I don't know how it will work with other models. But, if you have an AmHaze, this is the fluid to buy!!!

[powerCON Male] I like this cable. It has a perfect weight to it, feels very sturdy and long lasting, but also flexible.

The items I required were in stock and sold to me at a better price than the big store competetors. Shipping didn't cost me a dime (coast to coast at that!) and came with expedient delivery. I will purchase additional product in the future.

[0.65 lb] I work with volunteers at a church and few people take the time to read the cable to see if it's audio or data. By using the five pin DMX cables I avoid potential issues of the wrong cable being used.

Overall great connector. Used these to make my own Quasar T-12
power connectors. Saved a ton of money doing it myself.

Just be careful. If you put it together, like I did, just to see how it works, you have to use some vise grip pliers to unscrew it.

It has a ratchet locking mechanism to prevent it from unscrewing.
You'll have to probably reset the metal spring washer, but it's no big deal. This information was hard to find on line.

[0.65 lb] I use these connectors as a DIY analog of Festool power connector. So, you can have a single cord going to your work area, very short power cords (less than a foot) attached to tools, and quickly connect/disconnect the tools to that one shared power cord. That helps a lot when there is not much space to work in, and makes tools a lot easier to put away. These connectors are surprisingly easy to install, basically just strip the cable and tighten three screws.

[powerCON Male] I got this to use at our church because I work with volunteers and it's difficult for them to see the difference between a XLR cable and a three pin DMX. The five pins makes it more obvious :o)
