Q: 2. Can the LEE 100mm system be used with the Canon Tilt Shift lens TS-E 24mm f 3.5 ii without vignetting?

Q: 5. Will this work with Formatt Hitech 100mm Aluminum filter holder? I would get the Formatt Hitech 82mm wide angle adapter but that one doesn't fit on Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM lens.

A: No, that adapter ring is not compatible.This ring should work with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Lens.Formatt Hitech Adapter Ring for 4 x 4 Filter Holder - 82mm B&H # FOAR82442 MFR # HT100FSA82

Q: 6. If I have the choice to buy the 82mm Wide Angle Adapter Ring and the 82mm regular ring, why would I not use the 82 wide angle adapter ring? It is only $3 more and it will work on all lenses wide angle or not. Can't I use the wide angle 82mm adapter ring on all lenses?

A: Yes you could use the wide adapter ring on all lenses with a 82mm front filter thread. The wide angle adapter ring has a recessed thread witch allows a filter holder to be mounted closer to the lens therefor reducing the chance of dark shadows in the corners of a image. check out a video on you-tube by Joe Cornish for Lee Filters for more info.

Q: 7. Has anyone here used this adapter ring with the Lee 100mm foundation kit as wide as 16mm? I currently use the Format HiTech 100mm holder on my canon 16-35 II and it vignettes severely (not really a vignette actually the filter holder blocks the corners of the frame). Will the lee system allow me to shoot 16mm without appearing in the frame? A Lee rep. told me it would but I just want to be sure before I invest in a new system. Thank you.

A: Yes I have with my 16-35mm Canon lenses and it works great with the Lee foundation kit. No vignettes.

Q: 8. I am using a Tokina 11-20 lens, and would like to purchase a 82mm ring, would I be getting the standard one or the wide angle? What is the vignetting like on each ring?

[82 mm] I have migrated all of my filters to the Lee Filter system. As a result, I needed to acquire the adapter ring(s) for the lenses that I have or will be purchasing in the future. The 82mm wide angle adapter ring works great for connecting the filter holder to my Canon 16-35/2.8L II USM. Quality product that will allow me to expand my filter capabilities and create magical images.
