[Pattern] These straps are just quality pieces

[Pattern] At this price the strap was a bit of a gamble, but I'm very happy with it. It's a lot thicker and heavier than I thought, and so sits comfortably on the neck even without a pad. The best thing about the strap is that it's pliable enough to easily wrap around your wrist for maximum mobility. I replaced the metal split rings, which felt cheap compared to the overall quality of the strap, with thin parachute cord. The result? A noise free strap that never seems to get in the way. I use it on a Sony A7S primarily for run-and-gun documentary video, and it's great.

[Pattern] The flat profile of the silk strap makes for all-day comfort even with a heavy setup like Sony A1 and Sony 70-200 2.8 GM II.
When used away from the neck, the strap wraps nicely on the wrist.
For video shooting, the strap works smoothly for pans and tilts.

[Silk] Out of all the different straps I've tried, this one has been the most comfortable. The style and colors are great as well. Only wish it was a tad longer wear it cross body.

[Pattern] This is my fourth A&A silk strap, and it's not that they keep wearing out – far from it. I put them on each of my Leica M cameras as I like to carry the camera with the strap round my wrist most of the time, but sometimes round my neck if I want to change lenses. The A&A silk straps are more flexible than leather and have no shoulder pad that interferes with this type of use.

This particular strap is more like a traditional strap than the A&A silk rope type of straps which are the other ones I have. This one is flatter and slightly wider, and does not stretch under load. If I have a preference, I lean toward the rope type just now, but that may be because I have been using them for years. We will see if this style grows on me.

Yes they are a silly price, but they work really well and last for ever. I can settle for that.

[Pattern] This is a difficult item to review in some ways, and easy in others. The quality of this item is very good. I think what makes this appealing has to do with the world we live in. In this age of consumerism, we are surrounded by poor quality items designed purely to keep costs to a minimum. This strap is substantial and, other than the attachment rings and the sticking, is made entirely of silk and nice quality leather. The flat band sits nicely on the neck. I use this with a Leica M digital. This is not a strap for a heavy DSLR and lens combo. I have no doubts it would hold up, but given it is only wide, the weight would be too concentrated on a narrow band of your neck. This strap also works well by wrapping a couple times around my wrist for carrying my M in my hand. It is a good length for wearing on the chest, and OK for across the chest, but just barely long enough for that. If you are large, that may not work for you. For a simple neck strap, this is pretty expensive. If you feel good about paying and using quality products, that skilled human hands play a part in producing, than this may be for you. I personally enjoy using it and have no regrets.

[Silk] A great quality product with premium material and feel. Bought it to go along with my new mirrorless camera and it was perfect for the size. I already own the neck strap from them for another camera and I know I was going to get something that will last and look good for a long time. Quality and looks are equally important IMHO. Can't say enough good things about it. Well worth it.
