The battery features an ultracompact design that easily fits in small cameras, drones, gimbals, monitors, lights, or other lightweight pro video equipment having a standard or mini V-mount.

Power-hungry equipment supports a continuous draw of 10A and a maximum draw of 15A, and it features two D-Tap outputs to power a camera or light and two USB outputs to power small video accessories, smartphones, or on-set mobile devices. The battery has no memory effect and features temperature, current, and voltage protection. Battery capacity and charge status can be quickly checked via the LCD LED display. The battery's box-like design can be easily stacked for storage or packed away in a case for transport. It can be charged using any standard V-mount charger or SHAPE intelligent chargers.

[14.4 VDC] I've been using these hot swap drive bays for many years, we've sold hundreds of them with all the PC's we build. They have gotten better as time went by, but the best improvement was made recently. Startech added clip retainer slots for the SATA cables. Now when we connect the SATA cables the clips "click" and stay securely in place. Before this improvement we had to perform a number of techniques to hold the cables in place. This was always the weak link in our systems. Way to go Startech, you are definitely listening and improving your products! 5

[Lithium-Ion] This little hotswap plate really saves the day. No more powering down the camera to change batteries. Also gives a little more back weight with the second battery, balancing the camera for handheld shooting. 5

[5 V, 2 A] bought the old version of this and it was great for my 9mm HDDs. however after i while i moved onto 7mm SSDs which were not supported by the mechanism. told startech about my problem and they simply replaced my old model for the newer product free of charge. first class service. A+++++ 5

[1.33 lb] Definitely impressed with the quality of this. I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect Sharkfin for a while now and this one is checking all the boxes. I like that it sits a bit further back than the AB ones and I like the read out. It’s perfect for those front heavy cameras giving you just that extra bit of weight off the back, every inch counts when you’re trying to balance for handheld. Been using it just a couple days with the Amira and I really love it. I wish it would have shipped a bit quicker but maybe they solved that issue by now. Also have to mention the amazing customer service I received, every question was answered insanely quick and they were really great to work with. Happy with my purchase. 5

[V-Mount] Works great - the bottom PTAP port isn't wired, but that is a known thing with this model. It isn't really a problem as my wooden camera backplate for my camera has another port as well and this one has a working Ptap port on the top as well. 5

[99 Wh] this plate is really well made, the AB batts mount nice and snug, the p tap port is very useful. For alexa minis and reds, that are tend to be lightweight rigs, two batteries on the back gives the camera a better balance, especially on handheld and steadicam. Obviously, the hot swap function is a must. 5
