It is always difficult to purchase push-on caps—the only way to make sure it works is to physically test it.

Im not aware of any 72mm adapter rings for that filter holder that would be specifically made for wide angle lenses. And, as 72mm appears to be the largest adapter ring, there wouldnt be the option to use a larger adapter ring with a step down ring. You might need to look at a different filter holder/system for your lens.
