A: Use the speed lights in manual, connect each speed light to the Vello receiver, put the trigger on your camera's hotshe make sure the trigger and receiver are on the same channel and shoot away. there is no TTL and the speed lights need not be in any slave mode. This is manual setting only. Use a light meter if need be to determine exposure and you should be fine.

A: I use them with a Pentax, they work fine, and like what was already mentioned, as long as you have a hotshoe they should work fine for you.
