This Leofoto VR-400 Dual-Pivot Long Lens Support 15.7"from Leofoto VR-400 Dual-Pivot Long Lens Support 15.7"provides support for long lenses, reducing the mechanical strain placed on lens mounts and camera body mounts. The dual pivot support also reduces lens vibration, it has adjustable height and can be positioned along the length of the rail to fit a variety of lenses. The 15.7" long rail features an Arca-type dovetail so it may be mounted on a variety of quick release clamps and other accessories. It includes a 3/8"-16 mounting screw and a 1/4"-20 mounting screw for attaching to lens foot.

A: The Canon RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye 3D VR Lens is compatible only with All Cine Cameras, Canon EOS R5 C, Canon EOS R6 Mark II and the Canon EOS R5.

Q: 5. Will I be able to record 8k raw VR files into a ninja V+?

A: We do not recommend it. The VR lens uses metadata that is only recorded in camera. If you record to an Atomos you will not be able to use the Canon’s EOS VR Utility or the EOS VR Plug-in

A: Unfortunately, LeoFoto does not sell just the lens support of the Leofoto Dual Pivot Long Lens Support with Arca-Type QR (7.7") separately.

Q: 7. can I attach this lens to an extension bellow to increase its magnification at closer focusing distances?

A: If the bellows cuts the communication between camera and lens that may creates issues since the camera is creating via software the 3D VR functionality and needs to know the lens is connected.

Q: 8. What is the suggested tripod and slide to mount the lens without capturing tripod legs?

A: The Canon RF 5.2mm f/2.8 L Dual Fisheye 3D VR Lens has an angle of view of 180 degrees, so most tripods will work without being seen in the images.

Q: 9. Could this possibly work on a Red Komodo with an EOS-RF adapter?

A: The Komodo uses a RF Mount so you can use this lens without an adapter. The EF adapter wouldn't do much here.

Q: 10. Will this work with a Gitzo G 1329 tripod?

A: Yes, Gitzo G1329 MK2 Mountaineer Carbon Fiber Tripod is compatible with a 75mm bowl. Therefore Leofoto YB-75LK Leveling Base with Long Handle and Arca-Type QR Clamp can be attached to the tripod center support.

[Yes] I got these spikes for my monopod to be able to use in weird terrain. It still allows me to use the monopod as a walking stick but now, with the spike, it becomes a tactical walking stick. Win win. 5

[Aluminum] This lens case is superbly made and a terrific way to transport and protect long lenses. As with a previous post, I use this for the canon 300mm f/2.8 lens. Why not the 300mm dedicated version? This case for the 400mm is 4 inches longer internally and that allows me to transport the lens to a location with the camera (1D Mark III) and any tele-converters attached without needing to remove the Velcro secured, internal zipper, storage pocket. I want that protected internal pocket in place even if I have a TC and camera attached and I certainly want to avoid the necessity of attaching the lens at a dusty location. This lens case does a great job with room for flexibility of configuration. The fit is still snug but it is easy to remove the camera/TC/lens. Its water-resistant and the cushioned handle is very nice. 5

[Aluminum] These tripod spikes work great with Woodland, creek and ocean/beach photography. Easy to install. Also they make your tripod slightly taller and for me that is a bonus. 5

[Aluminum] Great versatile replacement for the standard feet that came with my FLM tripod. The Leofoto spies give you the option to quickly change from a floor protecting foot for indoor work to a metal spike for outdoor work. In addition, the long spikes provide a nice increase in working hight of the tripod. 5
