The Steadicam Balance Weight for Solo Camerafrom Steadicam Balance Weight for Solo Camerais an additional 4.6 oz counterweight for the Solo system that can be screwed into the weights included with the stabilizer, providing counterbalance for heavier loads. A: This Hovercam Solo 8 Plus document camera can be used with a Windows PC using the Hovercam software or with a Chromebook. To use with an iPad, there is an app "Splashtop" which allows you to use an iPad together with the Windows PC connected to Hovercam Solo 8. Q: 10. Will this top plate fit a Steadicam Pilot-VL?

A: It will not. This plate is only for the Steadicam Aero System.

[0.255 lb] Great quality weight. A little too light but it is needed to balance the Pilot without the need filling the monitor with batteries for extra weight. 5

[0.255 lb] It is what it is, works with the Merlin Steadicam, it might be a good idea to get more of these then that come with the steadicam, being how heavy some of the DSLRs can be. 5

[0.255 lb] used this on the end of a selphy stick to help stabilize an LG 360 cam. I use 4 and my videos have smoothed out significantly. 5

[4.6 oz (130 g)] I bought a few of these because I needed small weights to help counter-balance my BMPCC on a motorized gimbal. With a decent cage around my camera, these weights were ideal as I can mount them in any -20 thread and get the results I need. Due to a threaded hole on the opposite side, I'm able to use these to mount exterior accessories slightly higher when needed. These are pretty ideal for more than their intended purpose. I also like that they're only 4 ounces each (most other counterweights are a pound or more, which was way more than I need). 5

[1/4"-20] I'm using these with my Ronin-S. I attach them with a small cheese plate to the back of the Ronin-S' camera plate and it allows me to offset or move forward my Sony X70 far enough to operate in underslung and flashlight mode clearing the rear motor assembly. Props to Josh at Make Art Now for the tip. 5

[1/4"-20] Attached right into the cheese board I had on the underside of my camera rig. I was able to add the extra weight to it balance out for my flycam support vest. 5
