[Black] Since Presonus does not provide Dante capability in their StudioLive mixers, this adapter is a good way to add it for at least four output streams from one of the mixer's mix busses. Great for sending Dante streams to remote powered speakers, saving mixer analog outputs for other uses. 5

[Black] I bought this with the expectation that it likely would not do anything, and I'd return it. When I inserted it between my Sonos Port and a Denefrips Ares 2 DAC, however, I noticed an stark increase in dynamic range, to the extent that I had to turn my headphone amp down a bit. Through speakers, I noticed better imaging and placement, as well as better base. I checked in with the DAC manufacturer to see if this could just be the result of the iFi potentially feeding a hotter signal than the Port. They said that was unlikely, and reducing jitter would indeed be helpful to improve the DAC's sound. Of course, Denefrips solution for that costs many times the iFi. I'm keeping it, which surprised me. I expected only marginal improvements. The Sonos Connect was known to produce a lot of jitter. I had assumed the Port would improve on that, but perhaps not if I'm hearing such a jump from the iPurifier 2. I'm sure this is all system dependent, but my experience is that it is worth trying, if you buy from a vendor with good return policies. 5

[Black] This device is well worth the cost! I noticed immediately, a lower noise floor, better separation of instruments, deeper, wider soundstage. Highs are clean, without glare. Mids are clean and rich. Lows have more grip and well defined. Well done iFi! 5

[Black] I use this with a Roland M200i digital mixer to provide an audio feed to a livestream PC. Using the LAN saves adding an analog adapter to that PC. 5
