I was getting transfer speeds just over 100MB/s with the factory 1G card. With the 10G card, I'm seeing reed and write speeds around 500MB/s. I am working with a fairly long run over Cat 5e, so it might be capable of even more. 5

initial setup looks promising — much less frustrating to spin up AV/IP network for media production business using Netgear’s AV line compared to the nightmare I went through fighting with Ubiquiti’s enterprise switches. Sidenote — Netgear’s AV support team is a secret hidden in plain sight as a dedicated premium support channel which we’d otherwise expect to pay for from other vendors. Really impressed in the investment being made by the top @ Netgear — I’ll continue purchasing in the future if so. 5

Using these to power two Panasonic UE150 ptz cameras. I should have bought these the first time around... The first no-name brand POE injectors I bought were not negotiating POE with the cameras correctly, despite being rated 90w. These worked first try and stay cool during operation. Nicely constructed as well. 5

Was an easy install and works perfectly. Gives 10gbps speeds for my LAN transfers. If you are installing this in a new Synology, you will need to set up using the 1gbps port and after it's done updating and initializing, you can shift to the 10gbps port. It took no manual work and just flipped on after the Synology 1522+ updated. 5

Check to see if your use case can use the bandwidth before investing. Mechanical hard drives can't operate at 10Gbps even at higher read rate in RAID configuration. Synology should of include a 2.5Gbps port on their NAD in the first place as it's perfect for home use cases, but they required this purchase to unlocked higher performance, a bit cheap imo, but I knew this going in. Otherwise the card is as Plug and Play as PNP going to get. It just works. 5
