[Aluminum] I had a previous Sabrent USB port extension which sat on my desk right under my iMac's screen, but a spilled bowl of soup fouled three of the four outlets so I searched for a replacement and found this which, after figuring out how it attached thought it brilliant (and more soup-proof than its predecessor). It's sturdy, frees up desk space and blends perfectly with my Mac. 5

[Aluminum] I moved from TPlink to Sabrent after having numerous cabling issues. This device uses a standard USB B connector which is secure and common. The tplink used a microB which besides falling out often, only seemed to fit correctly with the cables shipped in the box which were two small. I have had no devices dropped, extremely stable USB, and the ability to switch off each device is awesome. I run a large number of usb devices and already have 2 of these. of course, BH was my first place to buy from 5

[Bus Powered ] This USB hub makes using a flash drive much easier on my All In One computer. Not having to turn my monitor sideways to see the USB ports and having 7 USB slots makes things a lot faster and easier. Not to mention no stress on my built-in USB ports. The On/Off switches are great as I can turn off a USB slot before removing or installing a flash drive. 5

[Bus Powered ] I have other hubs with electronic switches. I always have to fiddle with them. This one has physical switches and its a dream. With seven ports I can leave my different charging and interface cords plugged in and not have to plug and unplug all day. 5
